Abstract
With the difficulties caused by global warming, the world started to use alternative energies. Different methods to bring together solar energy data first began from 1767 and since then it turned to a huge industry. Georgia making its first steps in green energy technology and one of the major aspects is to observe the adaptation of renewable energy in the country for the future development of solar energy industry. Small period of time for the data perceiving from the solar panels, along with the highly correlated index between variables, lead us to the alternative approach for prediction of output power, after examining the plots and patterns of data we suggested the Bivariate t distribution as an appropriate method to predict the future output power and comply with the adaptation of green energy in Georgia. Bivariate t distribution commonly used in financial sectors, while monitoring the daily stock prices, or in quantitate management risk analysis, it characteristically takes hold of such events better, mathematically it is able to capture "tale dependence",making the Bivariate t distribution favored to model such cases. This paper propose the Bivariate t distribution to predict the future output power from solar energy panels, located in Tbilisi, Georgia. Along with the distribution we use log return transformation to check the pattern of data and BFGS algorithm which accelerates the EM(Expectation-Maximization) algorithm and helps to estimate parameters for the model. For the comparison was taken the Bivariate Normal model to check the performances both methods and choose the better one. This paper also presents the table of future Output power prediction values. The suggested method is applied to a real data taken from solar panels and gives contribution in analysis of green energy data, considered as the first method used for this kind of research.;
