Abstract
We synthezised the Li3V2(PO4)(3)/graphene composite with different SiO2 sources as a cathode meterial for lithium ion batteries. The SiO2 nanoparticle are spherical shape and exist on the LW surface observed by a scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The effects of different SiO2 sources in Li3V2(PO4)(3)/graphene composite were investigated by electrochemical performanc such as a galvanostatic charge/discharge, a cycling performance, and an electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), respectively. The LVP-mSiO(2) displayed discharge capacity of 183 mAh g(-1) in a potential range of 3.0-4.8 V and higher cycling performance. These improved electrochemical performance is attributed to the well dispersion SiO2 nanoparticles and low charge transfer resistance. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
