업무용 건축물 파사드의 이미지 분석을 위한 연구

Abstract

업무용 건축물은 도심 환경의 중요 요소로써, 현대인들에게 다양한 영향을 준다. 또한, 업무용 건축물은 대체로 대형 건축물의 비중이 크고 도심 속에서 랜드마크 역할을 하는 경우가 많으며, 최근에는 업무용 건축물이 참여형 건축물의 특성을 보임에 따라 도심 환경에서 업무용 건축물의 중요성은 더욱 커지고 있는 추세이다. 특히, 건축물의 파사드는 건축물에 대한 인식이 가장 먼저 영향을 미치므로 건축물 및 도심 환경의 이미지 형성에 중요한 역할을 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 시민들이 업무용 건축물 파사드에 대한 이미지 평가를 통해 업무용 건축물의 파사드에 대한 의식을 분석하여 도심 및 건축환경 디자인을 위한 기초자료 제공을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 국내 건축 잡지 두 곳에서 선정한 총 25개의 건축물을 활용하였으며, 선행 연구를 바탕으로 대상 건축물을 표현할 수 있는 16쌍의 상반되는 의미의 이미지 형용사를 빈도 분석을 통해 선정하였다. 대상 건축물의 이미지를 기반으로 평가자들은 상반되는 의미를 가지는 이미지 형용사에 더 적합하다고 생각하는 쪽을 평가 하였다. 본 연구에서는 유사한 형태의 건축물끼리 묶어 총 6가지의 형태로 분류하였고 이를 바탕으로 군집 분석을 실시하여 사람들이 인식하는 형태별 업무용 건축물의 이미지 분석을 실시하였다. Office buildings have a strong influence on people as major elements in urban environments. Also office buildings have a lot of large buildings and they act as landmarks. Recently, participants of office buildings are extended because of diverse function of the buildings so that the role of office buildings are getting larger. In addition, building facade has important roles that it is the first recognized part in building and it reflects images of corporation. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze images of office building facade that are collected from Korean architecture magazines .Space Magazine and AN News. For image analysis, this paper selects 16 pairs of image adjectives from background studies and evaluates the office buildings based on the adjectives that have conflict meanings. In addition, this paper classifies office buildings as horizontal box, vertical box, square, box combination, curved and diagonal emphasis. Based on the classified building type, this study utilizes survey as a means of comparison between building types so that we can notice the image differences.
