dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a fault-tolerant control algorithm for the in-wheel motor drive electric vehicle. The proposed fault-tolerant control algorithm is developed based on parity equation and current estimation method. The nonlinear permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) model and a PMSM control algorithm are developed to simulate the fault-tolerant control algorithm. The simulation results the validity of the proposed fault tolerant control algorithm.en_US
