다민족국가 선교전략에 관한 소고: 북카프카스 지역 소수민족의 인문지리, 역사, 정치적 상황 분석을 중심으로

Abstract

본 논고는 기독교 선교 전략을 모색하는 차원에서 다민족, 다문화 지역에 대한 선교 전략을 어떤 방식으로 접근할 것인가, 그리고 어떻게 그에 합당한 전략을 모색할 것인가를 러시아연방 내의 북카프카스 지역을 사례로 들어 논증한다. 즉 하나의 국가 내에서 다문화 이해를 통한 선교 전략에 대한 논의를 러시아연방 북카프카스 지역의 인문지리, 역사, 정치적 상황을 통해 통찰적으로 분석하는 내용이다. 본 논고에서는 북카프카스의 다민족 국가의 선교 접근 전략을 북카프카스를 중심으로 살펴보는 것과 동시에 북카프카스에 속하는 체첸 민족을 북카프카스 민족 그룹의 대표 주자로 선정하여 체첸 민족을 중심으로 역사, 정치, 사회적 관계를 다루고 있다. 하나의 소수 민족을 연방 내에서 분석하는 것은 다민족 선교에 매우 주요한 관점을 제공한다고 판단된다. 체첸이 소연방 해체 이후 독립을 추구하였는데, 이 사실은 다민족 국가에 속하는 민족 그룹의 역사적, 정치적 특성들을 연구할 수 있다는 점에서 다민족, 다문화 선교전략의 모델이 될 수도 있겠다. 본 논고는 북카프카스 인문지리 특성, 그리고 체첸공화국의 인문지리, 역사적 기원, 러시아 민족과의 관계, 체첸 전쟁 등 현재의 정치적 상황을 통해서 다민족 국가의 선교전략을 도출하는 내용으로 구성되었다. 본 논고에서 필자는 다민족 국가의 선교전략은 치밀한 지역연구를 통해서 그 전략적 방향성을 재고해야 한다는 입장을 피력하였으며, 민족의 종합적 상황을 통해 구체적인 선교전략을 추진해야 한다는 당위성을 제시하였다. This paper explores mission strategy in multiracial country focused on human geography, history and political position in the area of North Caucasus in Russia. This article attempts investigate common character in multiracial culture and the origin, history of the North Caucasian peoples. This article explores examining particularly Chechen people’s historical-cultural tradition and its historical relation with Russian Empire. Chapter II examines mission strategy, in multiracial culture area and Eurasia space. Chapter III reviews mission strategy, human geography and minority group focused on North Caucasus area. Chapter IV analyzes the example of the mission strategy in multiracial culture area focused on Chechen people. Chechens are usually described as a nation of warriors who have remained united in this nation’s struggle for the freedom and independence against Russian Empire, USSR and Russian Federation. This article assess the effects of the North Caucasian war in 19th century and two Russo-Chechen wars on Chechen national identity in explaining multiracial culture. The aim of this article is to present a mission strategy of the historical, political geography in North Caucasus in examining environmentalsurroundings of the minority’s group. I investigated aspects of a Chechen’s political surroundings including Chechen war. In exploring minority group’s mission strategy, it could not be ignored common aspects of the minority people. This article’s specification of mission strategy lies in the nation’s culture identity on the history, geography, and the political events.
