- Abstract
- The article describes a case of idiopathic retroperitoneal fibrosis (IRF) combined with osteolysis of the acetabular component in a 65-year-old man who was transferred from a clinic to a hospital in South Korea. It cites the patient's suffering from persistently elevated inflammatory parameters despite antibiotic treatment and notes his total hip arthroplasty (THA) in 1999. The diagnosis of IRF after abdominal computerized tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and tissue biopsy.
