dc.description.abstractThe present study has numerically investigated the effects of the fuel-side and oxidizer-side nitrogen dilution on the flame structure and NOx formation characteristics in the high-pressure ssynags gas-turbine combustors. Eulerian particle flamelet model was used to predicted the NOx formation characteristics in the turbulent syngas swirling nonpremixed flames. To precisely analyze the pressure effects on Nox formation characteristics, computations are made for the counterflow diffusion flames with the wide range of the operating conditions. Based on numerical results, the effects of pressure and nitrogen dilution on NOx emission emission are systematically analyzed for the non-premixed synags combustors.en_US
