dc.description.abstractAs the recent cost of rare-earth material has increased, many studies to reduce the amount of rare-earth magnet used for high performance motor are carried out. MAGFINE is Dy-free Nd-bonded-magnet that can sufficiently decrease the cost of magnet used for automotive motors without compromise in output performance. The fact that that the shape of MAGFINE can be changed easily is the best advantage ofMAGFINE, compared to other magnet materials. Characteristics of motors with Ndsintered magnet and MAGFINE are compared in this paper so that MAGFINE proves suitable for automotive traction motor.en_US
