Abstract
The Onomatopoeic verbs have the component of onomatopoeia, inclusive of derivational verb and derivational adjective. For instance, the derivational verbs that are derived by ‘-거리다/-대다, -이다, -하다’ fall under the purview of the Onomatopoeic verbs. The Onomatopoeic verbs demonstrate their properties of syntax and semantics in sentence that they are comprised in. Therefore the onomatopoeic verbs depend on the other constituents of sentence. A large numbers of the Onomatopoeic verbs have the use of an intransitive verb and a transitive verb at the same time. It follows from what has been said thus far that the Onomatopoeic verbs that are inclusive of derivational verb and derivational adjective are not the ergative or the zero derivative but the use of an intransitive verb and a transitive verb at the same time. I have reviewed the difference between the verb of phonomimes and the verb of phainomimes, There is not a distinct difference between the two. For example, the sentences that is affiliated with their verb appeared in the use of an intransitive verb, the use of a transitive verb, the use of an intransitive verb and a transitive verb at the same time. But on closer examination it is found that the verbs of phonomimes that are appeared the derivation of ‘-이다’ have the use of an intransitive verb and a transitive verb at the same time only.
