최근 개발된 B-세포 림프종의 치료 약제

Abstract

최근의 B-세포 림프종의 치료는 bendamustine과 같은 새로 등장한 세포독성 항암제를 이용한 전략을 유지하면서 새로 개발되어 출시되고 또한 연구되고 있는 표적 치료제들을 기존 치료에 병합하는 식으로 전개되고 있다. 최근 개발된 표적 치료제는 기존 것을 개량하거나 새로운 세포 표면 단백질에 대한 단클론 항체, 세포 내 신호전달 체계 억제제, 미세 환경을 조절하는 약제들이 주를 이루고 있으며 림프종 치료제로서 다양한 경구용 치료제의 출현은 괄목할 만한 부분이다. 향후 림프종 치료는 이전의 세포독성 치료제에서보다 부작용이 적고 효과적인 경구용 표적 치료제로의 전환이 기대되고 있으며 현재에도 일부 림프종에서는 현실화되고 있다. While most B-cell lymphomas are cured by chemotherapy, in recent years research interest has focused on the development of monoclonal antibodies and small molecules targeting membrane proteins, components of signaling pathways or tumor microenvironment, which are factors essential for the development and progression of lymphomas. Some of these new drugs have shown substantial clinical activity in phase I and small phase II studies in patients with relapsed and refractory disease, with response rates of up to 50-60% in some cases. These results give hope for patients who have standard treatment failure; however, their incorporation into commonly used regimens also represents a significant challenge for the future.
