사회복지사업 시민참여가 사회자본 형성에 미치는 영향

Abstract

This paper examines how citizen participation in social welfare projects affects the formation of social capital. Additionally, the purpose is to verify whether the sense of community has a mediating effect in this influence relationship. To carry out this research purpose, this paper set the research questions as follows. First, does citizen participation in social welfare projects have a significant impact on the formation of apartment community consciousness? Second, does citizen participation in social welfare projects significantly affect the formation of social capital? Third, does apartment community spirit have a mediating effect on the impact of citizen participation in social welfare projects on the formation of social capital? This paper consists of five chapters. Chapter 1 Introduction describes the research background, research problem, research purpose, and research scope and method. As a theoretical background, Chapter 2 summarizes theoretical content such as citizen participation in social welfare projects, community consciousness, concepts and types of social capital and community consciousness, and analysis of previous studies, and sets up hypotheses based on previous research between variables. Chapter 3 reviews previous research, establishes a research model targeting public institution workers based on this, and sets operational definitions and scales for each variable. As a research result, Chapter 4 analyzed the influence relationships between variables based on the statistical analysis results and presented the verification results of the hypotheses. Finally, Chapter 5 Conclusion provides a summary of the research and implications. Additionally, the limitations and future tasks of this paper are described. In this paper, a literature study and empirical investigation were conducted in parallel to determine how citizen participation in an organization's social welfare work affects community consciousness and social capital, and whether community consciousness has a mediating effect in their relationship. First, through literature research, we looked at theories and previous studies at home and abroad related to citizen participation in social welfare projects, community consciousness, social capital, and community consciousness. Through this, the concepts of variables and their relationships with each other were explored. Second, based on this theoretical background and previous research, a hypothesis appropriate for this paper was established and a research model was designed for empirical analysis. For empirical verification, a survey was conducted targeting public institution employees. The collected survey data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 26.0, a statistical package software commonly used in social science research. In this paper, we examined the direct influence residents have on the formation of social capital and the mediating effect of community spirit in this influence relationship. Therefore, the dependent variable is social capital, the independent variable is citizen participation in social welfare projects, and community spirit is assumed to be a mediating variable. Among the results of the above analysis, looking at the path coefficients and significance levels of the independent variable, citizen participation in social welfare projects, the mediating variable, community spirit, and the dependent variable, social capital relationship, each has a meaningful path coefficient and significance level.p< It was interpreted that each had a significant direct influence at the 0.01 level. Hypothesis 1 predicted that citizen participation in social welfare projects would have a positive effect on the formation of community spirit. The standardized path coefficient of the impact of citizen participation in social welfare projects on community spirit in the analysis model was В=.974, and was statistically significant at the p<0.01 level, so Hypothesis 1 was adopted. Hypothesis 2 predicted that citizen participation in social welfare projects would have a positive effect on social capital. The standardized path coefficient of the impact of citizen participation in social welfare projects on community spirit in the analysis model was В=.099, and was statistically significant at the p<0.01 level, so Hypothesis 2 was adopted. Hypothesis 3 predicted that community spirit would have a positive effect on social capital. The standardized path coefficient of the impact of community spirit on social capital in the analysis model is В=1.056, and is statistically significant at the p<0.01 level, so Hypothesis 3 was adopted. Hypothesis 4 predicted that community spirit would play a mediating role in the relationship between citizen participation in social welfare projects and social capital. In the analysis model, the mediating effect of community spirit in the relationship between citizen participation in social welfare projects and social capital is 0.960, and is statistically significant at the p<0.01 level, so Hypothesis 4 was adopted. |본 논문은 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여가 사회자본의 의 형성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지? 또한 이러한 영향관계에 있어 공동체의식이 매개하는 효과가 있는지를 검증하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적 수행을 위해 본 논문에서는 다음과 같이 연구문제를 설정하였다. 첫째, 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여는 아파트 공동체의식의 형성에 유의미하게 영향을 미치는가? 둘째, 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여는 사회자본의 형성에 유의미하게 영향을 미치는가? 셋째, 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여가 사회자본의 형성에 미치는 영향에 아파트 공동체의식이 매개효과를 갖는가? 본 논문은 모두 5장으로 구성하였다. 제 1 장 서론에서는 연구배경과 연구문제, 연구목적, 그리고 연구범위 및 방법을 기술하였다. 제 2 장은 이론적 배경으로서 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여와 공동체의식, 사회자본 및 공동체의식에 관한 개념과 유형, 선행연구 분석 등 이론적인 내용을 정리하면서 변수 간 선행연구를 바탕으로 가설을 설정하였다. 제 3 장은 선행연구를 검토하고 이를 토대로 공공기관 종사자를 대상으로 한 연구모형을 설정하고, 각 변수의 조작적 정의와 척도를 설정하였다. 제 4 장은 연구결과로서 통계 분석 결과를 바탕으로 변수 간 영향관계를 분석하고 가설에 관한 검증결과를 제시하였다. 마지막으로 제 5 장 결론에서는 연구요약, 시사점을 기술하였다. 그리고 본 논문의 한계와 향후 과제를 기술하였다. 본 논문에서는 조직의 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여가 공동체의식과 사회자본에 어떠한 영향력을 미치는지, 이들의 관계에서 공동체의식가 매개효과를 가지는지를 확인하기 위해 문헌연구와 실증조사를 병행하였다. 첫째, 문헌연구를 통하여 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여, 공동체의식, 사회자본 및 공동체의식와 관련된 이론과 국내외 선행연구를 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 변수의 개념 및 서로간의 관계를 탐색하였다. 둘째, 이러한 이론적 배경과 선행연구를 바탕으로 본 논문에 맞는 가설을 설정하고, 실증적 분석을 위하여 연구모형을 설계하였다. 실증 검증을 위하여 공공기관 종사자를 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하였다. 수집된 설문자료는 일반적으로 사회과학연구에서 많이 사용하는 통계 패키지 소프트웨어인 SPSS 26.0을 사용하여 다음과 같이 통계 분석하였다. ① 표본의 인구통계학적 분석을 위해 빈도분석을 실시하였다. ② 변수 측정 척도의 타당도를 검증하기 위하여 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 아울러 설문지의 내적 일관성을 평가하여 신뢰도를 검증하기 위하여 Cronbach’s α 값을 조사하였다. ③ 변수의 내용구성 및 변수 간의 연관성 파악을 위해 기술통계분석과 상관분석을 실시하였다. ④ 표본의 인구 사회학적 특성에 따른 각 집단들과 각 변수의 차이분석 검증을 위해t-검정과 F-검정(ANOVA)을 실시하였다. 또한 사후검정을 위해 Sheffe 검정방법을 활용하였다. ⑤ 원인변수인 독립변수 한 개가 결과변수인 종속변수에 미치는 직접효과를 검증하고 매개변수의 간접효과인 매개효과를 검중하기 위하여 Amos를 이용한 경로분석을 실시하였다. ⑥ Amos를 이용한 경로분석을 실시하기 위해서는 측정모형과 구조모형이 적절해야 하므로 이를 위하여 측정모형의 확인적 요인분석과 구조모형의 적합도를 측정후 경로모형을 해석아여 가설을 검증하였다. 본 논문에서는 주민자가 사회자본의 형성에 미치는 직접적 영향과 이러한 영향관계에서 공동체의식의 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 따라서 종속변수는 사회자본, 독립변수는 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여이고, 공동체의식은 매개변수로 상정한다, 이상의 분석 결과중 독립변수인 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여와 매개변수인 공동체의식-, 그리고 종속변수인 사회자본관계의 경로계수와 유의수준을 살펴보면 각각은 모두 의미있는 경로계수와 유의수준 .p<0.01 수준에서 각각 유의미한 직접 영향관계를 갖는다고 해석하였다. 가설1은 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여는 공동체의식 형성에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이라고 예상하였다. 분석모형의 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여의 공동체의식에 미치는 영향의 표준화 경로계수는 В=.974이며, p<0.01 수준에서 통계적으로 유의하여 가설 1은 채택되었다. 가설2는 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여는 사회자본에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이라고 예상하였다. 분석모형의 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여의 공동체의식에 미치는 영향의 표준화 경로계수는 В=.099이며, p<0.01 수준에서 통계적으로 유의하여 가설 2는 채택되었다. 가설3은 공동체의식은 사회자본에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이라고 예상하였다. 분석모형의 공동체의식간의 사회자본에 미치는 영향의의 표준화 경로계수는 В=1.056이며, p<0.01 수준에서 통계적으로 유의하여 가설 3은 채택되었다. 가설4는 공동체의식은 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여와 사회자본의 관계에서 매개역할을 할 것이라고 예상하였다. 분석모형에서 공동체의식은 사회복지사업에 대한 시민참여와 사회자본의 관계에서 매개효과는 0.960이며, p<0.01 수준에서 통계적으로 유의하여 가설4는 채택되었다.
