연애 리얼리티 프로그램 <환승연애1> 포맷 구성의 특성에 관한 연구

Abstract

Love reality programs focus on young men and women's emotions and marriage markets, and play an important role in the entertainment market where various genres are poured out with a unique emotional perspective. With the opening of the streaming era, the online video service (OTT) platform is showing strength. <Transferring Love 1>, which emerged against the backdrop of the continued popularity of love reality programs and the strength of the OTT platform in the streaming era, is also a sign that the genre of love reality has entered a completely new stage of development. Research on domestic love reality programs is mainly focused on love entertainment based on broadcasting stations such as "We Got Married" and "Heart Signal" series. There was also a lack of analysis of the characteristics of the format of the love reality program and the elements of the enjoyment. In this paper, the love reality program <Transferring Love 1> conducts research for the purpose of identifying the characteristics of the format composition of <Transferring Love 1>. Formal elements in the format composition of the love reality program <Transferring Love 1> are the production format in the form of recording, editing, and broadcasting the daily lives of the cast and the discussions of the observation guests, the composition of five fixed and one non-fixed guest, unstructured narrative structure, and drama-like continuity. The content format composition is a structure in which suspense is set through the combination of three scenes: the details of the cast, the guest's topic guide, and the performer's personal interview. Therefore, it is possible to evaluate the format of the love reality program <Transferring Love 1>. The originality of the love reality program <Transferring Love 1> is 1) the concept of "Transfer," 2) emphasizing complex emotions and emotional conflicts in relationships, and 3) the authenticity of content. The problem is the lack of narrative and confusion caused by the separation of group public spaces. Through the above research, we examine the characteristics of the format composition of <Transferring Love 1> from the perspective of enjoyment. The characteristics of the romance reality program <Transferring Love 1> format are 1) emotional conflicts and growth of characters, 2) emotional empathy that viewers have not gained in reality. 2) By creating four narrative spaces, shared, private, dating, and special spaces, it provides the most intuitive realistic basis for the story.|연애 리얼리티 프로그램은 젊은 남녀의 감정과 결혼 시장을 집중 조명하고, 독특한 감정적 시각으로 다양한 장르가 쏟아지는 예능 시장에서 중요한 몫을 차지하고 있다. 스트리밍 시대가 열리면서 온라인동영상서비스(OTT) 플랫폼이 강세를 보이고 있다. 연애 리얼리티 프로그램의 지속적인 인기와 스트리밍 시대 OTT 플랫폼의 강점을 배경으로 등장한 <환승연애1>은 인기와 화제성, 콘텐츠의 질까지 주목받으며 연애 리얼리티라는 장르가 완전히 새로운 발전 단계에 진입했음을 알리는 신호이기도 하다. 국내 연애 리얼리티 프로그램에 대한 연구는 주로 <우리 결혼했어요> <하트 시그널>시리즈 등 방송국을 기반으로 한 연애 예능에 집중돼 있다. 연애 리얼리티 프로그램 포맷 구성의 특성, 향유자 요소에 대한 분석도 부족했다. 본고에서는 연애 리얼리티 프로그램 <환승연애1>가 연구 대상으로 <환승연애1> 포맷 구성의 특성을 규명하는 목적으로 연구를 진행한다. 연애 리얼리티 프로그램 <환승연애1> 포맷 구성에 형식적 요소는 출연자들의 일상과 관찰 게스트들의 토론을 녹화하고 편집해 방송하는 형태로 한 제작 형식, 고정 관찰 게스트 5명과 비고정 게스트 1명의 진행자 구성, 비구조화 된 내러티브 구조, 드라마 같은 연속성이다. 내용적 포맷 구성은 출연자의 디테일, 게스트의 화제 안내, 출연자의 개인 인터뷰 세 장면의 맞물리기를 통해 서스펜스(suspense)를 설정한 구조이다. 따라서 연애 리얼리티 프로그램 <환승연애1>의 포맷에 대해 평가할 수 있다. 연애 리얼리티 프로그램 <환승연애 1>의 독창성은 1)'환승'이라는 콘셉트, 2)연애에서 복잡한 감정과 캐릭터의 감정적 갈등을 중시하는 것, 3)콘텐츠의 진정성이며 문제점은 서사의 부족, 단체 공용 공간이 분리되면서 생긴 혼란이 있다. 위와 같은 연구를 통해 향유의 관점에서 <환승연애1> 포맷 구성의 특징을 살펴본다. 연애 리얼리티 프로그램 <환승연애1> 포맷 구성의 특성은 1)캐릭터의 감정 갈등과 성장으로 시청자들의 현실에서 얻지 못한 감정적 공감을 유발하고, 2)공유 공간, 사적 공간, 데이트 공간, 특수 공간, 4개의 서사공간을 구축함으로써 공간의 성격화를 최대한 만들고, 이야기에 대한 가장 직관적인 현실적 근거를 제공하고, 3)다양한 재미요소를 가진 코너의 변화를 통해 감각적인 자극을 지속적으로 제공하여 향유자가 프로그램의 맥락에 몰입할 수 있도록 한다.
