박예닮 졸업공연 “순례자의 노래 - 음악으로 듣는 구약성서와 고대 이스라엘"

Abstract

본 논문은 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업 공연 ‘순례자의 노래 - Song of Pilgrim’ 에 대한 공연의 주제와 각 곡들에 담긴 의도, 연주된 자작곡들에 사용 된 음악적 기술을 분석하는데에 목적이 있다. 석사과정을 지내며 연구했던 민족 음악의 기술적 이론과 민족음악이 가진 특성을 바탕으로 곡 마다 작곡 의도와 곡의 구조적 배치를 설명하고 그에 따른 악기 편성과 연주법에 대해 설명한다. 또한 가사가 있는 곡은 가사가 전달하고자 하는 이야기가 무엇인지에 대해 설명 한다. ‘순례자의 노래 - Song of Pilgrim’ 는 구약성서에 나오는 주요 사건들을 주 제로 각 사건들이 포함하는 기독교의 상징적 의미들을 음악으로 표현하고 있으 며 ‘순례자’ 라는 단어에 대한 1)일반적 의미 와 2)종교적 의미 를 모두 포함 하고 있다. 일반적 의미로는 일련된 주요 사건들을 구약 성서의 배경이 되는 중 동-아랍권 지역 음악적 요소로 표현한 곡들을 통해 순례하고자 하는 의미를 담 고있고, 또한 종교적 의미로서의 순례자로 살아가고자 하는 창작자(본인)의 철 학의 담은 작품이다. 총 6곡으로 가창곡 2곡, 연주곡 2곡, 구조적 즉흥연주 (Structured Improvisation)2곡 으로 이루어져 있다. 곡 마다 악기 구성이 조금씩 다르며 총 5명의 연주자가 참여하였다. 공연 전체적 흐름은 구약 성서에 등장하는 천지 창 조부터 다윗 시대까지 시간적인 순서대로 배치하였다.|This paper uses the theme of the performance on the graduation performance "The Sonf of Pilgrim" to complete the master's course, the intention contained in each song, and the self-composed songs performed. There are a total of six songs, consisting of two vocal music, two instrumental, and two structural improvisations. Each song has a slightly different instrument composition. Five performers participated. The overall flow of the performance is the heaven and earth that appears in the Old Testament It was arranged in chronological order from World Creation to David's time.
