유아교육기관 실외놀이시설 색채 연구 -놀이유형에 따른 감성요인 분석을 중심으로-

Abstract

본 연구는 유아기 놀이유형별 감성요인의 분석과 감성요인별 색채를 도출하여 이를 실외놀이기구 시설에 적용함으로써 유아기 놀이 활동 본래의 목적을 극대화하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 실외놀이시설(정글짐, 시소, 미끄럼틀, 그네, 흔들 목마, 놀이 집, 놀이바닥)의 7개 놀이유형요인을 규명하였다. 설문조사를 통해 놀이유형별 활동요인을 도출하고, 활동요인에 대한 감성요인을 도출하였으며 MCC감성필터컬러시스템을 이용하여 감성요인별 색채 요인을 도출하였다. 연구 결과 정글짐, 시소, 미끄럼틀, 흔들 목마 등은 신체적 놀이유형으로 분류되었으며 사회적 놀이로는 놀이집이 인지적 놀이로는 그네와 놀이바닥이 분류되었다. 놀이유형별 감성요인에 따른 색채도출 결과, 신체적 놀이에는 빨강, 노랑, 초록, 파랑, 보라와 같은 원색계열의 다양한 색상을 사용하는 것이 바람직하며 사회적 놀이에는 파스텔 톤, 난색계열의 분홍, 노랑, 하늘 색상 적용이 바람직함을 알 수 있었다. 인지적 놀이로는 고명도, 중채도, 한색계열의 파랑, 보라, 초록 색상과 무채색 적용이 바람직함을 알 수 있었다.;This study seeks to maximize the benefits of young children’s play through painting outdoor kindergarten playground equipment in colors designed to induce positive emotions and feelings. Types of play are in this study in terms of the types of equipment each play activity requires. Types of play include 1) jungle gym, 2) seesaw, 3) slide, 4) swing, 5) wooden horse, 6) play house and 7) play floor.

Actions are deduced by types of play while emotions are inferred by actions. Data was collected by means of a survey and analyzed. The MCC Emotional Filter Color System was used to predict emotions related to colors. As a result, an effective method of color application for outdoor playgrounds and equipment designed to illicit positive emotions congruent with types of play was established.

Color classifications according to types of play are as follows: Physical play (jungle gym, seesaw, wooden horse, slide) uses red, yellow, green, blue and purple. Social play (play house) uses pastel colors of pink, yellow and sky blue. Cognitive play (swing and play floor) uses high bright colors, and middle chroma colors of cold-blue, purple, green and achromatic colors.
