어린이 앱북 인터페이스의 사용방식 유형 차이에 따른 선호도 비교 연구

Abstract

현대 사회는 멀티미디어 기기의 활성화 및 컨텐츠의 다양화로 인해 여러 방향의 독서 방식이 유행하고 있다. 특히 그림책의 경우 기술 발전에 의해 스마트 기기 형태를 바탕으로 빠르게 발전하고 있는데 특히 스마트 기기 사용연령층이 급격히 낮아지면서 앱북 활성화가 이루어진 반면 앱북 인터페이스에 대한 연구는 부족하다.

따라서 본 연구는 앱북에 적합한 인터페이스의 유형과 그 인터페이스의 차이에 따른 사용 후 선호도의 분석을 통해 인터넷이나 스마트 기기 내에 서비스되고 있는 어린이 앱북 인터페이스의 구성 및 향후 학습효과의 증진 및 엔터테인먼트 장치로서의 방향 제시에 도움을 주고자 했다.

그 방향 제시를 위해 1)어린이의 정보 검색 능력 및 행태와 어린이 앱북 인터페이스의 유형 및 인터랙션 요소에 대한 조사와, 2)어린이 앱북 인터페이스 업체 중 연구의 객관성을 위해 다운로드 순위가 높은 업체 중 사용 방식에 따라 나눈 어린이 앱북 인터페이스 업체에 동일한 컨텐츠를 참여 관찰하고, 3)이를 통해 좀 더 선호하고 사용성이 좋다고 판단되는 어린이 앱북 인터페이스 유형 방식을 파악 및 앱북이라는 매체 특성을 근거로 개선 방향을 도출하는 것으로 한다. 또한 이와 같은 조사와 실험 결과 및 분석을 실험 이후 선호도 변화와 사용시간 변화 파악 및 주로 흥미를 보이는 사용 특성의 파악 등을 통해서 보다 나은 어린이 앱북 인터페이스를 위한 객관적 근거로 사용하는 것은 물론 향후 어린이 앱북 인터페이스 레이아웃의 가이드라인 설정을 위한 자료로서 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이라고 판단하여 본 연구를 진행했다.;TIn today’s society, with the activation of multimedia devices and the diversity of contents, multidirectional reading methods are being popularly adopted. In particular, picture books are being rapidly developed with the types of smart devices thanks to the technological development. As the age of people using smart devices becomes very much lowered, app-books have been activated, too; however, research on app-book interfaces still lack. Therefore, this study analyzes the types of interfaces appropriate for app-books and preferences after use according to the difference of the interfaces in order to improve the composition of children’s app-book interfaces being serviced either on the internet or smart devices and the effect of learning afterwards and also support the suggestion of directions as an entertainment device. To propose the directions, this research 1) investigates children’s information searching capacity and behavior and also the types of children’s app-book interfaces, 2) conducts participatory observation on the children’s app-book interfaces classified by the types of use, and 3) examines the types of better children’s app-book interfaces through the observation and draws directions to improve the devices based on the media characteristics of app-books. With this research and experimental results and analysis, it will be possible to use them as the ground for better children’s app-book interfaces and also provide help as the data to set up the guideline of the children’s app-book interface layout afterwards.
