인지적 어포던스에 영향을 미치는 차량용 내비게이션의 인터페이스 요소에 관한 연구- 기능 아이콘을 중심으로 -

Abstract

최근 들어 단순히 운전자의 위치만을 알려주던 차량내비게이션은 대중화가 이루어지면서 다기능 제품으로 변화하고 있다. 따라서 차량내비게이션의 인터페이스는 운전자가 쉽게 인지하고 행동할 수 있는 방향으로 디자인 되어야 한다. 차량 내비게이션을 사용함에 있어서 가장 많은 사용율을 보이는 검색 기능 아이콘의 인지적 어포던스에 대해 연구를 하여 서로의 관계를 알아보고자 했다. 이번 연구에서는 차량 내비게이션의 검색 기능 아이콘의 특징이 인지적 어포던스에서 어떤 영향을 주는지 알아보기 위해 먼저 아이콘의 특성에 대해 살펴보고, 널리 사용되고 있는 제품의 아이콘을 분석한다. 선별된 아이콘을 바탕으로 사용자 테스트와 인터뷰를 통해 아이콘과 기능 간의 일치 정도를 알아보고 결과와 앞서 조사한 아이콘의 특징을 비교 분석하여 인지적 어포던스에 영향을 주는 아이콘의 특성에 대하여 논하였다. 결과적으로 아이콘의 시각적 특징 중에 형태적 측면이 인지적 어포던스에 큰 영향을 주며 크기 부분에서는 전반적으로 큰 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 규명되었다. 이번 연구에서는 아이콘의 시각 요소가 인지적 어포던스에 서로 어떤 영향을 주고 받는지 알아보는 연구로 시각적 특성간의 관계를 살펴보았다는 것에 의미를 두었다. 또한 이후 연구에서는 본 연구에서 살펴본 아이콘과 다른 인터페이스의 요소들과의 관계를 통해 어떤 변수가 어떻게 작용되는지 규명할 필요가 있다.;Recently, Car Navigation system is changing from simply informing driver’s position to multinational product. Therefore car navigation system interface design should be more easily recognize and act for user. Cognitive affordance of search icon research and figue out relationship between each other. First, examine feature of icon, analysis icon used widely for which features of car navigation search icon have influence on cognitive affordance. Base on selected icon, user test and interview that check between icon graphics and function. And then compare and analysis the result and feature of icon, dissert cognitive affordance have influence what facture of icon. The result has been identified as the morphological aspects of the visual features of icon gives a significant effect on the cognitive affordance but the size does not influence overall. This study is to find out whether the visual element of the icon affect on the cognitive affordance and it has a meaning for examining the relationship between the visual features.In further studies, it is necessary to determine how certain variables may act through the relationship of other interface elements and the icons we looked in this study.
