자동차 클러스터에 나타나는 디자인 감성요소 연구

Abstract

자동차 계기판은 고속 주행 시 운전자가 최단 시간 내에 차량의 상태와 차량 운행 정보를 습득하고 다시 전방 주시로 돌아가 안전 운행을 할 수 있도록 디자인 되어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 국산 승용차를 중심으로 인간공학과 인터페이스 측면에서 자동차의 계기판 디자인의 문자 가독성과 배색, 그리도 계기판 위치에 따른 시인성을 중심으로 진행되었다.

그 결과 GM 자동차 마티즈의 경우 계기류에 사용된 문자의 종횡비가 낮고 문자를 에워싼 여백이 작은데다가 계기류와 표시등 부분이 두 위치로 나뉘어 있고 계기류의 위치가 운전자의 전방시야와 우측으로 30도가량 떨어져 있어 시선 동선을 길게 해 시인서이 떨어지는 경향이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 위차종을 제외한 대부분의 국산 승용차 모델은 사용자의 편의성이나 시각적인 부분의 가독성, 시인선 부분에서 일반적이고 이론적으로 안전한 서체의 사용 및 배색을 사용하고 있었다.
