Abstract
The pre-cutting method is one of the tunnel widening methods, in which a blade with a cutter is used to create a cut surface in advance, inject filling material, and excavate the enlarged section. The pre-cutting method is characterized in that it is possible to widen the construction while maintaining the existing traffic flow by installing a protector. In addition, since the cut surface is formed with the designed blade, over-drilling is minimized, and it can be applied not only to rock mass but also to tunnel widening when the ground conditions are unfavorable, such as composite ground or soft ground. However, proper dimensions for the length and width of the blade performing pre-cut have not yet been clearly defined. Therefore, in this study, by analyzing the behavior of existing tunnels and enlarged tunnels according to the excavation length and width of pre-cutting through three-dimensional numerical analysis, the optimal blade ratio according to the ground conditions is indirectly considered. A three-dimensional numerical analysis was performed using MIDAS GTS NX, and the analysis was performed on a total of 18 cases with the ratio of the excavation length and excavation width of the pre-cut as a design parameter. In addition, in order to confirm the behavior according to the ground conditions, the behavior of the tunnel during pre-cutting was analyzed by setting a total of 5 ground properties according to the rock class (I ~ V). As a result of the numerical analysis, in the case of the existing tunnel, it was confirmed that as the pre-cutting excavation width and pre-cutting ratio increased, the crown settlement value was calculated relatively large in the initial excavation section of about 5 m. In the case of an enlarged tunnel, in case of class IV and class V rock mass, when the excavation width of pre-cutting is 0.5 m, when L/w is 18, and when the excavation width of pre-cutting is 0.7 m, when L/w is 12, the crown settlement was confirmed that the displacement occurred significantly compared to the previous cases.|Pre-cutting 공법은 터널 확폭 공법 중 하나로, Cutter가 달린 Blade를 이용해 미리 절단면을 생성하여 채움재를 주입하고 확대 단면을 굴착하는 형식이다. Pre-cutting 공법은 프로텍터를 설치해 기존 교통류를 유지하면서 확폭 시공이 가능하다는 특징이 있다. 또한 설계된 Blade로 절단면이 형성되기 때문에 여굴을 최소화하며, 암반뿐만 아니라 복합지반이나 토사지반과 같이 지반조건이 불리한 경우에 해당하는 터널 확폭 시에도 적용 가능하다. 그러나 Pre-cutting 공법 관련 Pre-cut을 수행하는 Blade의 길이와 폭에 대한 적절한 치수는 아직 명확히 규정되지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 3차원 수치해석을 통해 Pre-cutting의 굴착 길이와 폭에 따른 기존 터널 및 확폭 터널의 거동을 분석하여, 지반조건에 따른 최적의 Blade 비율(L/w)을 간접적으로 고려하고자 한다. 3차원 수치해석에는 MIDAS GTS NX를 사용하였으며, Pre-cut의 굴착 폭과 굴착 길이 비율을 변수로 총 18가지 경우에 대해 해석을 수행하였다. 또한 지반조건에 따른 거동을 확인하기 위해 암반등급(Ⅰ~Ⅴ)에 따라 지반 물성치를 총 5가지로 설정하여 Pre-cutting시 터널의 거동을 분석하였다. 수치해석 결과 기존 터널의 경우 Pre-cutting의 굴착 폭과 Pre-cutting 비율(L/w)이 증가할수록 굴착 초기 약 5 m 구간에서 천단변위 값이 상대적으로 크게 산출되는 것을 확인하였다. 확폭 터널의 경우 Ⅳ등급, Ⅴ등급 암반에서 Pre-cutting의 굴착 폭이 0.5 m인 경우 L/w가 18일 때, 그리고 Pre-cutting의 굴착 폭이 0.7 m인 경우 L/w가 12일 때 천단변위가 이전 경우들에 비해 크게 발생함을 확인할 수 있었다.
