李聃命의 <思老親曲12章> 고찰

Abstract

이 논문은 17세기 말엽에 창작된 이담명의 <사로친곡12장>에 관한 연구이다. 본고가 이 작품에 주목하는 것은 크게 두 가지이다. 하나는 형식적 측면이며, 다른 하나는 내용의 측면이다. 즉 <사로친곡12장>은 연시조의 특성인 유기적 연결보다는 ‘의식의 흐름 기법’에 따라 구성되어 있고, 내용의 측면에서 통상적인 유배문학과는 달리 思親, 즉 孝를 주지로 삼고 있다.

연시조 작품으로서 <사로친곡12장>은 몇 가지 특성을 지닌다. 우선 주제의 측면에 있어서 그 시기의 주된 흐름인 江湖나 訓民이 아닌, 思親을 노래한다는 점이다. 이것은 配所에서 이루어진 유배문학이 주로 戀君을 주지로 삼는 것과도 변별된다. 구성의 측면에서는 총 12수로 이루어진 연시조이지만 각 장의 연결에서는 순차성이 결여되면서 유기적 연결체로서 연시조의 정의에는 미흡한 측면을 보인다. 대신 서구 소설 양식에서 거론되는 ‘의식의 흐름’ 기법과 유사한 일면을 지닌다. 본고에서는 <사로친곡12장>의 연시조적 의미를 이와 관련하여 찾고자 한다.

그동안 시조작가로서의 이담명이나 연시조 작품으로서 <사로친곡12장>에 대한 관심은 그리 주목할 만한 것이 아니었다. 그러므로 본고에서는 이담명에 대한 간략한 검토와 더불어 <사로친곡12장>을 이루는 시조 12수의 분석을 먼저 하였다. 이를 토대로 연시조로서 <사로친곡12장>의 특성에 주목하였다. 그 결과, <사로친곡12장>에서 연시조로서의 특성은 의식의 흐름 기법에 근거한다는 것 이외에 순환고리형의 연결을 하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

또한 시조에 등장하는 효의 의미도 천착하였다. 유배지에서 창작한 것으로써 기왕의 유배문학과는 달리 사친의 감정을 전면에 내세움으로써 유배문학의 성격 변화를 고찰함에도 유효할 것으로 기대한다.;This paper is a study on the Yi, Dam-myoung's <Sarochingok 12piece>, it had been created in the late 17th century. It is important to note in this

a good son. In general, the theme of exile literature is Yeongun(戀君). In terms of configuration, this text is connected to the lack of sequentiality. There,

this paper find new ways. It is a stream of consciousness. Stream of consciousness technique is a form of Western novels.

There wasn't much interest for in the meantime, Yi, Dam-myoung and his work (<Sarochingok 12piece>). So, this paper was, first of all, to describe of

the author and the work analysis. Based on this, noted in <Sarochingok12piece> as Yeonsijo. As a result, <Sarochingok 12piece> has two characteristics.

There are the 'stream of consciousness technique' and 'circular ring of connection'.

It was also, this paper is delve deeper into the meaning of filial piety in <Sarochingok 12piece>. This work, in the front of the feelings of filial piety

with creative in exile. Therefore, it is possible to explore the nature of change in the exile literature.
