관광정체성은 영유아 동반자의 관광참여에 어떻게 영향을 미치는가? - 자녀 연령에 따른 제약인식 차이를 중심으로 -

Abstract

영유아 자녀 동반은 부모의 관광참여를 방해하는가? 그렇다면 부모의 관광정체성은 이를 극복하는데 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 이 연구의 목적은 영유아 동반 관광 시 영유아의 특성으로 인해 형성된 부모의 관광제약을 파악하고, 부모의 관광정체성이 영유아 동반 관광제약을 극복하고 관광에 참여하게 하는데 미치는 영향을 확인하는 것이다. 영유아 동반자는 관광약자로 분류할 수 있으며, 이들의 특성을 반영한 제약과 제약협상과정에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 다양한 관광제약은 관광참여를 저해하기 때문에, 관광객은 제약협상과정을 통해 제약을 극복하고 관광에 참여한다. 여가제약협상과정에서 여가정체성의 주요한 영향을 확인한 선행연구를 바탕으로 관광정체성이 관광제약협상과정의 새로운 변수로서 그 중요성과 연구의 필요성이 제기되었다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 관광정체성이 관광제약협상과정을 거쳐 관광 참여의도에 미치는 영향을 이해하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 관광제약협상과정에서 관광정체성의 영향관계를 검증해 관광제약협상 연구의 이론적 모델을 확장했다는 점에서 주요한 학술적 시사점을 갖는다. 또한 동반 자녀 연령 등 영유아 동반자의 특성을 반영해 형성된 관광제약과 제약협상요인을 파악했다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 국내 영유아 동반 관광 활성화과정에서 관광제약 완화와 협상 촉진을 위한 정책적, 실무적 전략 수립과 방향 설정에 의미 있는 시사점을 제시하고자 했다.;Does accompanying young children hinder parents’ participation in travel? Then, how does the tourism identity of parents affect overcoming this? The purpose of this study is to identify the tourism constraints of parents formed by the characteristics of young children when traveling with them and to confirm the effect of parents’ tourism identity on overcoming and participating in tourism with young children. Accompanying young children can also be classified as the disabilities in tourism, and it is necessary to study the constraints negotiation process reflecting their characteristics. Since various travel constraints disturb tourism participation, tourists overcome the constraints and participate in tourism through the constraints negotiation process. Based on previous studies that confirmed the major impact of leisure identity in the leisure constraint negotiation process, the importance of tourism identity as a new variable and the need for research were raised. Accordingly, this study seeks to understand the intention to participate in tourism formed by the influence of tourism identity on the process of negotiating tourism constraints. The results of this study have major academic implications in that they expanded the theoretical model of the research on tourism constraints by verifying the relationship of influence of tourism identity in the process of negotiating constraints. In addition, we identified tourism constraints and constraints negotiating factors that were formed by reflecting the characteristics of companions with young children, such as the age of children.
