Abstract
E-Axle is a compact and cost attractive electric drive solution for battery electric vehicles and hybrid applications. The electric motor, power electronics and transmission are combined in a compact unit that directly powers the vehicle’s axles. This helps make electric drives less complicated and simpler. In addition, power trains have become cheaper, more compact, and more efficient. The E-Axle drive can be adapted to many types of vehicles – it can be installed on the front or rear axle of hybrid and electric vehicles. Its modular construction and flexible manufacturing concept facilitate optimum customized solutions in terms of power output, torque and installation space. Reducing the influence of gear error on E-Axle is an important idea to reduce noise. This paper analyzes the characteristics of noise generation by analyzing the error of the gear in the E-Axle system and uses ANSYS for simulation analysis. Reduced noise and improved NVH performance by reducing gear errors.
