Today, with the rapid urbanization, China's big cities are developing at an unusual speed. However, due to China's unique "household registration system" and "urban-rural dual system", China's big cities have born their own unique urban phenomenon "urban village" phenomenon in the process of modernization. As the witness of urban modernization, the "urban village" itself is a museum of urban development. In the huge conflict with surrounding cities, how to preserve its own culture and give "villagers" better living space has become a common topic. In the past, the transformation of "urban village" meant large-scale demolition and forced relocation of residents. However, "urban village" is also an important part of urban ecology and has its irreplaceable value. This paper hopes to explore what kind of community form these "urban villages", which carry the memory of the city and gather a large number of migrant workers, should continue to exist in the process of Beijing's rapid development, rather than being roughly wiped out, by taking the "fossil camp", a typical "urban village" in Beijing, China, as the entrance and combining its industrial sites. This paper aims to put forward the community space strategy of ensuring people's living space and making the urban village and the city coexist organically without destroying the original cultural history and spatial texture of the "urban village".-
