Abstract
설계 결과를 입증하기 위해 시편을 제작하여 시험을 수행하였으며, 무부하 역기전력과 PWM 전류, 그리고 주운전 효율을 시험 검증하여 학습된 대체 모델의 성능을 입증하였다.| Recently, the demand for electric vehicles (EVs) is spreading due to the strict environmental regulations. The mileage is the main performance of EVs and is determined by the capacity of the battery and the efficiency of the e-powertrain. In order to increase the mileage, it is efficient to increase the efficiency of the traction motor instead of increasing the capacity of battery due to its high price and weights. The most important objectives in designing the traction motor are the increase in power density and efficiency. However, the two objectives have a trade-off relationship because the high power density can be achieved by increasing the rotational speed of the traction motor but it causes high AC copper loss in armature windings and iron loss in core materials. In addition, the PWM current also has a significant effect on iron loss and AC copper loss. The importance of AC copper loss and PWM current is increasing due to the high-voltage trend for reducing the charging time of EVs, and the high-speed operation of the traction motor by using the reducer. However, the AC copper loss requires complex modeling of armature winding, and PWM current also needs to be calculated through an inverter-motor model. Therefore, the design of the traction motor considering AC copper loss and PWM current requires very high computing cost. From this point of view, this thesis proposes a computationally efficient design process of traction motor considering AC copper loss and PWM current. The contributions of the proposed process is as follows. First, design process of traction motor considering AC copper loss and PWM current was established. In order to consider the AC copper loss, d, q-axis model for considering AC copper loss as an AC resistance was proposed. In addition, a process of combining the inverter-motor model and current vector control was proposed to derive PWM current when designing the traction motor. Second, the active transfer learning-based training process of the surrogate model was proposed to reduce the computational cost for analyzing PWM-induced electromagnetic losses. Due to the high computational cost, it is difficult to secure a large amount of motor performance considering the PWM current. Therefore, the active transfer learning-based training method that can train a surrogate model with high accuracy using a large amount of sinusoidal current-based motor performance and a small amount of PWM current-based motor performance was proposed. Using the proposed process, it was possible to minimize the computational cost of training the surrogate models for predicting iron loss and AC copper loss considering PWM current, and the designing of traction motor can be conducted using the trained surrogate models. The objective functions of the design problem were drive efficiency according to the operating points of 14.5 kW electric vehicle, torque ripple, and total harmonic distortion of the induced voltage. The multi-objective optimization was conducted by using the NSGA-II algorithm, and the traction motor can be optimized considering AC copper loss and PWM current. In order to verify the design result, an optimized traction motor was fabricated and experiments were conducted. As a result, the performance of the trained surrogate models was verified by measuring the no-load back electromotive force, PWM current, and main drive efficiency.
