초기 성인기의 병리적 자기애 성향과 경험적 회피의 관계에서 자기대상 욕구의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구는 초기 성인기를 대상으로 병리적 자기애 성향과 경험적 회피의 관계에서 자기대상 욕구의 매개효과를 확인하였다. 병리적 자기애가 높아질수록 자기대상 욕구도 함께 증가되어 경험을 회피하는 것에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴봄과 더불어 상담 장면에서 효과적이고 적절한 치료적 개입 방법을 탐색하는 것에 있어 시사점을 얻으려는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 전국의 만19세~만34세 남녀를 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하여 총 289명의 자료를 수집하였다. 측정도구는 경험적 회피를 측정하는 수용행동 질문지 척도(AAQ-16), 병리적 자기애 척도(PNI), 그리고 자기대상 욕구 척도(K-SONI)를 사용하였다. SPSS 28.0과 PROCESS macro 프로그램(model 4)을 사용하여 인구통계학적 특성 및 변인들 간의 기술통계와 상관분석, 매개분석을 알아보았고, 부트스트래핑(bootstrapping) 방법으로 매개효과의 유의성을 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주요 변인들 간의 상관분석 결과, 초기 성인기의 병리적 자기애 성향과 경험적 회피, 자기대상 욕구는 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 상관으로 나타났다. 둘째, 병리적 자기애 성향과 경험적 회피의 관계에서 자기대상 욕구의 매개효과를 확인하였으며, 특히 자기대상 욕구는 병리적 자기애 성향과 경험적 회피의 관계에서 완전 매개효과를 나타냈다. 본 연구의 결과는 병리적 자기애 성향이 경험적 회피로 이어지는 관계에서 영향을 미치는 변인으로 자기대상에 대한 욕구를 확인하였고, 자기대상 욕구의 이해를 확장시켰다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 시사점과 제한점, 그리고 후속 연구에 대한 제언에 대해 논의하였다. | Focusing on early adult, this study is to examine the mediating effect of self-object needs in the relationship between the influence of pathological narcissism and experiential avoidance. The purpose of this study is The higher the pathological narcissism, the higher the self-objective desire, and how it affects avoiding the experience, and based on this study, to obtain an effective and appropriate intervention method in the counseling scene. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted using the Acception & Action Questionnaire-16(AAQ-16), Pathological Narcissism Inventory(PNI) and Korean SelfObject Need Inventory(K-SONI). The questionnaire towards 289 early adult (19 to 34-year-old) living in Korean responds were analyzed. The SPSS 28.0 program and the SPSS process macro were used to analyzed the results. Based on the collected data, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis of each variable were performed, and the mediating effect were verified by bootstrapping on process macro model 4. The main results of this study is follows. First, according to the correlation analysis, the influence of pathological narcissism, experiential avoidance and self-object needs showed a significant positive correlation, and confirmed by pearson’s correlation analysis. Second, through the regression analysis of the three-step procedure, there was a complete mediating effect of self-object needs in the relationship between the influence of pathological narcissism and experiential avoidance, and verified by bootstrapping on process macro model 4. This study is meaningful in that they derived results on the relationship between the influence of pathological narcissism and experiential avoidance, and it is significant in that these results expanded the understanding of self-object needs. Through these results, the limitations of this study and suggestions for subsequent studies were discussed.
