This has changed the consumption culture of modern people. A psychological satisfaction capable of satisfying the needs of the user is further requested from the physical satisfaction. Let’s analyze the characteristics of the space, focusing of user experience, through offline bookstores that are diversified according to changing trends in the commercial space. In the Seoul metropolitan area, offline bookstores that have been completed since 2016 were selected as examples. First, the user types of offline bookstores are derived through theoretical considerations. Second, Create checklist based onuser experience design characteristics. Third, Conduct questionnaires and draw conclusions on characteristics of user experience through user analysis. As a result of performing the user questionnaire, it can be confirmed that not only the storefront space for the purpose of selling the book but also the activity space and the rest space of the user are psychological factors staying in the space of the user. In the activity and rest spaces, the natural flow of flow, the user stable, and the color and lighting that can create wramth in the space have emerged as major characteristics. In both cases, it can be understood that the important characteristics are to connect the activity space and the rest space to the storefront space to induce the interest of the user and to create the comfort of the space.en_US
