궁중예술과 민간예술의 교류 메커니즘

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 조선시대를 중심으로 궁중예술과 민간예술의 교류사(交流史)를 살펴봄으로써 상층예술과 민간예술이 서로 섞이며 다양해지고 고급화되는 과정을 통해 예술의 발전이 이어져오고 있음을 밝히는 것이다. 조선시대의 악(樂)은 시(時), 가(歌), 무(舞)를 통칭하는 용어였다. 그러므로 조선시대 악에 관한 기사 속에서 오늘날의 문학, 노래, 무용의 전반에 걸친 예술 문화를 살필 수 있는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구자는 조선왕조실록을 비롯하여, 홀기, 개인의 문집 등을 총 망라하여 악(樂)에 관한 기사를 정리하고 이를 근거로 삼아 궁중예술과 민간예술의 교류 메커니즘을 밝혔다. 동시에, 본 연구자의 최고 관심사는 무용이므로 악에 관한 기사 중에서 특히 무용의 교류에 관해서 보다 깊이있게 살펴보았다. 본 연구 에서는 궁중예술과 민간예술의 교류 메커니즘을 다섯 가지로 도출하였다. 첫째, 선상조(選上條)에 의한 기녀(妓女)교류둘째, 사대부 관료들의 사적인 향락(享樂) 셋째, 전란 시기 장악원(掌樂院) 기능자들의 피란넷째, 민간에서 유래한 궁중정재다섯째, 국가 소속 음악기관의 공개연주이러한 다섯 가지의 궁중예술과 민간예술의 교류 메커니즘을 통해 이원화되었던 두 예술이 서로 융합되어 발전하였다. 이를 통해 궁중예술은 더 다양해지고 대중화되었으며 민간예술은 더 수준이 높아지고 완성도를 갖추며 고급화되었다. 본 연구를 통해 예술의 발전이 이루어진 다양한 메커니즘을 이해하고 새로운 예술발전에 가치를 더할 수 있기를 기대한다. The purpose of this study is to identify the mechanism of art evolution through the process by which high-class art and folk art interact to increase their diversity and quality. “Ak” (樂) was an overarching term for poetry, song, and dance. Accordingly, articles on Ak in the Joseon Dynasty reveal art and culture including literature, songs, and dances of the time. Therefore, I did collect and summarize written articles on Ak in various related works, including The Annals of Joseon Dynasty, the programs of ceremonies, and the anthologies of poets. I did pay close attention to changes in dance in the articles, since it is the area in which I am most interested. In this study, five mechanisms of interaction between court and folk art were derived. Fist. The interation of Gi-nyeo by the Sunsangjo Second. The private pleasures of bureaucrats Third. The musicians of the Jangakwon the period of war Fourth, Folk art origin of court art Fifth, A public performance by a state-affiliaated music agency Court and folk art were fused and developed through five mechnisms of interacton. Therefore, the court arts have become more diverse and popular, and the folk arts have been high quality, completed, and more advanced. Through this research, I hope to understand the various mechanisms in which the development of art has been made and to add value to the development of new art.
