한국 소설<소를 줍다>의 한중 번역에 관한 연구

Abstract

한중 양국은 같은 “유가문화권”에 속해 양국의 문화교류 역사는 유구하다. 양국은 서로배우고 거울로 삼아 찬란한 문화를 창조하였다. 아시다시피 문학은 한 민족의 사상 영혼성격과 문화의 반응이며, 문화의 일부분으로서 특히 92년에 양국은 정식 수교 이후 양국의 문학 교류가 활발하게 진행되고 왔다. 문학이라는 언어 예술은 양국 문화를 깊이 이해하고 양국 국민의 마음을 소통하는 데 더없이 소중하고 효과적인 역할을 하고 있다.

많은 중국 작가들의 문학 작품이 한국어로 번역되고 출간되었다. 심지어 영화로 제작되는 작품도 있다. 만찬가지로 한국 문학 작품들도 중국어로 번역되어 중국에서 널리 알려지면서 중국 독자들의 사랑을 많이 받고 있다. 문학은 이미 중한 문화 교류의 전달자가 되어 양국의 깊은 교류와 협력을 촉진하고 있다고 생각한다.

본고는 전성태 작가의 소설「국경을 넘는 일」중 <소를 줍다>를 대상으로 중국어로 번역하는 것에 대한 연구이다. 번역과정에서 중요한 문장하고 어휘를 분석하였으며, 구성은 다음과 같다. 제1장에서는 연구 목적, 연구 대상 및 연구 방법에 대해 설명한다. 제2장에서는 소설의 중요한 어휘들에 대해 1대1, 1대다 그리고 의역 이 3 가지로 나누어 구체적으로 설명하고자 한다. 제3장에서는 앞부분 분석 내용을 대해 정리하며 이번 소설 번역에 대한 소감을 서술한다.

번역하는 과정에서 어휘하고 문장의 뜻을 전달하는 것도 중요하지만 아시다시피, 소설번역은 단순한 언어 카피 아니라 일중의 예술 재창작이다. 역자가 번역된 언어의 어휘와 문법 및 언어 형식을 사용하여 번역하는 데 원천 소설의 이미지 강정과 예술미를 최대하게 보류해야 한다. 그래서 <소를 줍다> 이 소설 완벽하게 중국어로 번역하려면 원천소설의 문맥과 흐름 그리고 작가의 감정을 잘 파악하여 적절한 중국어 어휘를 선택하는 것도 매우 중요하다.

소설「국경을 넘는 일」중 <소를 줍다>는 한국에서 유명한 소설이지만 아직 중국어로 된 번역본이 없다. 이 우수한 문학 작품을 중국어로 번역하는 것이 한중 양국의 문학하고 문화의 교류를 촉진하는 데에 도움이 된다.|Both Korea and China belong to the same " Confucian culture " with a long history of cultural communication. They learned from each other and created a splendid culture. As you know, literature could be regarded as a nation's ideological and spiritual nature and culture. Cultural communication with the two countries had become more active after they established diplomatic relations to 1992. As one of the language arts, literature plays an invaluable and effective role which is helpful to the deep understanding of the culture and communicate between the nation. Many writings of Chinese writers have been translated into Korean and published, and some have been made into films. Simultaneously, Korean literature was translated into Chinese as well. It is widely known and is loved by Chinese readers. Literature is the messenger of sino-Korean cultural exchange. It has promoted the in-depth exchanges and cooperation between the two countries. This paper is a study on Korean-Chinese translation based on <Cattle, Be Saved> in the novel 「Crossing the Border」 by Jeon Seong-tae. Key sentences and vocabulary were analyzed in translation. This paper consists of three parts. Chapter 1 explains the research purpose, research subjects, and research methods. In Chapter 2, the important vocabulary analyzes of the novel is divided into three categories which are one-to-one, one-to-many, and paraphrase. Chapter 3 summarizes the analysis of the previous parts and describes the feelings about the translation of this novel. Translation is not only conveying the meaning of vocabulary and sentences but also a re-creation of art. The vocabulary, grammar, and linguistic form of the target language was used in translation by translator. And the characters ' feelings and artistic beauty of the original novel should be preserved to the maximum extent. Therefore, in order to translate this novel faultlessly, it is significant to select an appropriate Chinese vocabulary by understanding the context, to master the feelings of the author and to use the correct Chinese word. Among 「Crossing the Border」, <Cattle, Be Saved> is famous but has not yet been translated into Chinese. Therefor the translating work of this excellent literary may promote the literary and cultural exchanges between Korea and China
