대학생이 지각한 모의 심리적 통제가 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향 : 자기개념명확성의 매개효과

Abstract

이 연구는 대학생이 지각한 모의 심리적 통제, 자기개념명확성, 관계적 공격성의 관계를 살펴보고, 대학생이 지각한 모의 심리적 통제가 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향에서 자기개념명확성이 매개효과를 보이는지 알아보고자 하였다.

이 연구의 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별에 따른 대학생이 지각한 모의 심리적 통제, 자기개념명확성, 관계적 공격성의 차이가 있는가? 둘째, 대학생이 지각한 모의 심리적 통제, 자기개념명확성, 관계적 공격성의 관계는 어떠한가? 셋째, 대학생이 지각한 모의 심리적 통제가 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향에서 자기개념명확성은 매개하는가?

연구대상은 온라인 설문을 통하여 모집하였으며 서울, 경기, 강원도, 경상도에 위치한 대학교에 재학 중인 20세~29세 이하의 1학년~5학년 대학생 250명 대상으로 설문조사하였다. 측정도구로는 모의 심리적 통제 척도, 자기개념명확성 척도, 관계적 공격성 척도를 사용하였고, SPSS 22.0 통계 프로그램을 활용하여 자료를 분석하였다.

이 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생이 지각한 모의 심리적 통제, 자기개념명확성, 관계적 공격성에 대한 성별에 따른 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 대학생이 지각한 모의 심리적 통제는 관계적 공격성과 정적상관관계를 나타냈고 자기개념명확성과는 부적상관관계를 나타냈다. 자기개념명확성과 관계적 공격성은 부적상관관계를 나타냈다. 셋째, 대학생이 지각한 모의 심리적 통제는 관계적 공격성에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 대학생이 지각한 모의 심리적 통제가 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향에서 자기개념명확성이 부분매개 하는 것으로 나타났다.

이와 같은 연구결과를 통하여 대학생이 지각한 모의 심리적 통제가 자기개념명확성을 거쳐 관계적 공격성에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로, 상담현장에서 대학생 내담자를 상담할 때 직접적 접근이 어려운 모의 양육태도인 심리적 통제 대신 대학생의 자기개념명확성을 높이는 방법으로 개입하여 관계적 공격성을 낮추어 대학생의 원만한 대인관계와 적응적인 대학생활을 도울 수 있기를 기대한다. |The purpose of this study is to examine whether mediated effect college students’ self-concept clarity effect on parental psychological control percieved by college students on their relational aggression. The sample of the study was 250 students (male; 121, female; 129) from college located in Seoul, Gyeong-gi, Gangwon-do, Gyeongsang-do area. Psychological Control Scale-Youth Self-Report (PCS-YSR), Self-Report of Aggression and Social Behavior Measure(SRASBM), Self-Concept Clarity Scale (SCCS) was used and SPSS 22.0 program was utilized for the data. The results of this study are summed up as follows: First, There was no gender difference in the mother's psychological control, self-concept clarity, and relational aggression perceived by college students. Secondly, The mother's psychological control perceived by college students showed a positive correlation with relational aggression and negative correlation with self-concept clarity. Self-concept clarity and relational aggression showed negative correlation. Thirdly, The mother's psychological control perceived by college students had a direct influence on relational aggression. In addition, it was found that self-concept clarity partially mediated the effect of the mother's psychological control perceived by college students on relational aggression. Through these research results, it was confirmed that the psychological control of the mother perceived by college students affects relational aggression through self-concept clarity. Based on this, when consulting college student clients, it is necessary to intervene in a way that increases the clarity of college students' self-concepts instead of the psychological control of mothers who have difficulty in direct access. In addition, it is hoped that relational aggression can be lowered to help college students have smooth interpersonal relationships and adaptive college life.
