권지수 졸업공연 “Autobiography” 작품해설

Abstract

This thesis analyzes the composer’s intentions of the songs and the characteristics of the songs through a comprehensive analysis presented in the graduation performance <Autobiography> for the completion of the master's program. The purpose of this paper is to explain the intention and characteristics of this piece by analyzing the outline, formal structure, melodic structure, and arrangement structure of a song through the knowledge acquired through theories and activities studied while attending the master's program. The graduation work is a total of 7 songs, including 6 self-composed songs and one song arranged by participation. The rhythm and harmony of each piece are expressed well. The experiences based on the author's music activities are expressed in a way that can be empathized with. The instrumentation of the song is based on the drum, guitar, bass, and piano. Additional instruments were demonstrated through playback. The emphasis was placed on harmonizing the overall theme with diverse and various compositional and performance techniques that appear in each song.|본 논문은 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업공연 <Autobiography>에서 선보인 곡들의 종합적인 분석을 통하여 작곡의 의도와 곡의 특성을 분석한 것이다. 석사과정 재학 중 학습한 이론과 활동을 통해 습득한 지식을 통하여 곡의 개요, 형식 구조, 선율 구조, 편곡 구조를 각각 분석하여 작품의 의도와 특성을 설명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 졸업 작품은 총 7곡으로 6곡의 자작곡과 1곡의 편곡 참여 곡을 포함하고 있는데, 각 곡의 의도에 따라 곡의 리듬과 화성이 잘 표현될 수 있도록 하였고, <Autobiography> 주제에 맞게 지금까지의 저자의 음악 활동에 기반하고 있는 경험들을 공감할 수 있도록 표현하였다. 곡의 악기 편성은 드럼, 기타, 베이스, 피아노를 기반하고 있으며 추가되는 악기는 플레이백을 통하여 실연하였다. 각각의 곡들에서 나타나는 다양한 작곡기법 및 연주기법인 다양성과 전체적인 주제의 조화를 이루는데 중점을 두었다.
