국내 힙합문화 유입에 따른 스트릿 댄스 변화 연구

Abstract

21세기에 들어오면서 국내에서는 여러 방면으로 스트릿 댄스가 대중들에게 소개되었다. 영화, 드라마, 댄스컬, 뮤지컬, 미디어 등을 통하여 스트릿 댄스 문화가 대중화되었다. 이와 함께 스트릿 댄스의 인식과 비중이 높아졌고, 문화적인 측면에서도 그 가치가 높아졌다. 본 연구는 국내 힙합 문화 유입에 따른 스트릿 댄스 변화 연구이며, 스트릿 댄스가 국내 유입을 통해 어떻게 변화했는지, 스트릿 댄스의 장르적 특징 움직임을 토대로 국내의 변화와 발전 가능성을 연구한다. 이를 통해 국내 스트릿 댄스의 무한한 변화 ․ 발전과 향후 여러 작품들의 생성을 바라며, 댄서 아티스트들에게 학문적 기초 자료를 제공하는 목적을 두고 연구를 진행하였다. 스트릿 댄스의 움직임의 근원인 시대를 1960년대로 기반을 두고 음악의 변화와 움직임의 변화 과정들을 알 수 있었다. 국내에서 스트릿 댄스가 90년대부터 연예계와 대중들에게 등장하여, 스트릿 댄스의 선풍적인 인기를 맞이하였다. 또한 급변하는 21세기에 들어서면서 대중매체가 발달하고 미디어와 소셜네트워크(SNS)를 통해 문화 접변이 일어나, 대중들의 인식변화가 높아지며 세계문화교류가 가능해졌다. 그로 인한 국내 무용계의 변화와 함께 미디어와 방송 매체는 스트릿 댄스를 활용하기 시작하였다. 국내에서는 2013년 ≪댄싱-9≫을 시작으로 미디어를 통한 대중공연 서바이벌 오디션 프로그램이 생겨났고, 향후 2021년≪스트릿 우먼 파이터≫의 방영으로 스트릿 댄스의 인기는 이례적으로 높아졌다. 스트릿 댄스는 국내에서 힙합 문화와 함께 하나의 문화로 정착되고, 그 영역은 현재까지 확장되어오는 행보를 보이고 있다. 그 행보는 대중들이 항시 휴대하고 있는 스마트폰 어플인 소셜네트워크, 인스타그램과 틱톡 등에서도 보여진다. 이러한 현장에서 스트릿 댄스는 단순히 음악을 표현하는 행위가 아닌 사회문화적인 측면에서 대중과의 밀접한 소통과 공감의 관계로 접근할 수 있다. 국내 스트릿 댄스의 발전과 함께 다양한 예술 장르의 융 ․ 복합 협업으로 한국적 대중문화예술의 기반을 둔 창의적인 문화콘텐츠가 형성되기를 기대해본다. 위와 같이 힙합 문화가 국내에 유입되어 오면서, 국내에서는 보편적으로 1990년대가 스트릿 댄스계의 시발점으로 볼 수 있었다. 국내 힙합 문화 유입을 통해 스트릿 댄스의 변화와 발전을 알 수 있었고, 국내 스트릿 댄스가 미디어를 통해 대중들에게 미치는 영향력을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통하여 향후 국내 스트릿 댄스의 변화와 미디어 콘텐츠를 활용하여 여러 작품이 등장하기를 바라며, 댄서들이 대중들에게 설 수 있는 무대와 장소들로 하여 스트릿 댄스가 대중들에게 지속적인 영향을 줄 수 있을 것이다.| In the 21st century, street dance was introduced to Korea in various ways. Because of that, awareness and importance of street dance have increased and in cultural values have increased too. this study investigate street dance how can change and development due to the inflow of domestic hip-hop culture and the characteristic movement of street dance. The purpose of this study is to provide basic academic data to dancers, Through this we hope that Korean street dance will change and develop indefinitely, and that various works will be created in the future. Based on the 1960s, the origin of street dance, we were able to see the changes in music and movement. Street dance has appeared in the entertainment industry and the public since the 1990s in Korea, and street dance has gained sensational popularity. Also in the rapidly changing 21st century, With the development of mass media and cultural encounters through media and social networks (SNS), the public's perception changed and world cultural exchange became possible. As a result, Various media and broadcasting media started to use street dance With the change of the domestic dance world. In Korea, Starting with Dancing-9 in 2013, a public performance survival audition program was created through the media. After that, With the airing of Street Woman Fighter in 2021, which is korea famous television program the popularity of street dance has grown unusually high. street dance has become a culture along with in Korean hip-hop culture. These social changes can be seen in various media and applications such as Tik-Tok and Instagram on the smartphone that the public always carries. street dance is not just an act of expressing music, but a close communication and empathy with the public in terms of socio-cultural aspects. we hope that creative cultural content based on Korean popular culture and art will be formed through convergence collaboration of various art genres. As hip-hop culture has been introduced into Korea as above, the 1990s can generally be seen as the starting point of the street dance industry in Korea. Through the influx of domestic hip-hop culture, we can know about that the change and development of street dance and the impact of Korean street dance on the public were revealed through the media. Through this, it is hoped that various works will appear using domestic media contents in the future, Street dance will have a lasting impact on the public through stages and places where Korean dancers can stand up to the public.
