전기차와 충전소 간의 네트워크 효과 실증분석

Abstract

본 연구는 2016년부터 2020년의 전국 승용 자동차 판매자료와 지자체별 충전소 설치 자료를 이용하여 전기차 구매와 충전소 설치 간 네트워크 효과를 실증 분석한다. 이를 위해 네스티드 로짓 모형을 설정하여 자동차 수요함수를 추정하고 충전소 설치 식을 추정하였다. 자동차 수요 식 에서는 가격과 수요, 누적 충전소와 수요와의 상호연관성 때문에, 충전소 설치 식에서는 누적 전기차와 오차항과의 상관이 우려되어 각 식에서 모두 도구변수를 사용하였다. 실증 분석 결과로는 전기차와 충전소가 서로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 누적 충전소 대수는 전기차 수요에 음의 영향을 미치고 누적 전기차 대수는 충전소 설치에 정의 영향을 미친다. 이는 전기차 도입 장려 정책을 시행하는 정부와 자동차 제조업체 그리고 소비자들과 같은 경제 주체들이 전기차와 충전소 양면 모두를 고려하여 의사결정 해야 함을 의미한다.|This study analyzes the network effect between electric vehicles and charging stations using data from national passenger car sales and installing charging stations by local governments from 2016 to 2020. A Nested logit model was established to estimate the automobile demand function. and then we estimate the charging station installation equation. In the automobile demand function, due to the correlation between price and error term, cumulative charging station and error term, there was a concern about the correlation between cumulative electric vehicles and error terms in the charging station installation formula, so instrumental variables were used in all equations. As a result of empirical analysis, we found that electric vehicles and charging stations influence each other. The cumulative number of charging stations has a negative effect on the demand for electric vehicles, and the cumulative number of electric vehicles has a positive effect on the installation of charging stations. The implications are that the government implementing policies to encourage the introduction of electric vehicles, automobile manufacturers, and consumers should make decisions in consideration of both electric vehicles and charging stations.
