Program annotation : 졸업연주 프로그램을 중심으로 한 R.Schumann, V.Bellini, 이수인, 김규환의 성악작품 해설

Abstract

본 연구는 연구자의 석사 과정 이수를 위한 졸업 연주 프로그램을 중심으로 살펴본 분석연구이다. 프로그램은 크게 19세기 낭만시대의 독일 작곡가와 이탈리아 작곡가, 그리고 20세기를 대표하는 한국 작곡가 두 명의 작품으로 구분하였다. 필자는 각 작곡가들의 대표적인 가곡을 선택하여 이들의 생애 및 작품세계를 살펴보고 가곡의 음악적 특징 그리고 각 곡에 사용된 시의 형식 및 해석과 악곡 분석의 측면에서 분석하였다. 19세기 독일의 대표적인 작곡가 로베르트 슈만(Robert Schumann, 1810~1856)의 연가곡 《여인의 사랑과 생애》(Frauenliebe und Leben, Op. 42)는 1840년 시인 샤미소(Adelbert von Chamisso, 1781~1838)의 시에 곡을 붙인 작품으로 그의 가곡 작품 중에서 빼놓을 수 없는 걸작으로 평가받고 있다. 이 작품은 한 여자의 생애와 사랑을 일련의 과정으로 다룬 여덟 개의 곡들도 구성되어있다. 빈첸초 벨리니(Vincenzo Bellini, 1801~1835)는 낭만시대 이탈리아의 위대한 작곡가 중 한 명으로 짧은 생애 동안 역사에 남을 걸작들을 작곡하였다. 그의 성취는 오페라뿐만 아니라 예술가곡에도 큰 업적을 남겼다. 벨리니의 성악작품 중 이탈리아 리코르디(Ricordi) 출판사에서 발행한 《6개의 아리에타》(Sei Areitte)를 선택하여 분석 및 연구하였다. 이 작품은 6곡으로 구성되어 있으며 모두 사랑의 주제를 담고 있다. 한국 가곡작품으로는 이수인(1939~2021)의 ‘별’과 김규환(1926~2011)의 ‘님이 오시는지’를 선정하여 분석하였다. 두 곡 사이의 연관성은 없지만, 모두 한국인의 애환과 정서가 담긴 유명한 작품으로 오랫동안 대중들의 사랑을 받았을 뿐만 아니라 많은 한국 성악가들에 의해 연주되어진다. 이 연구를 통해서 위 작곡가들의 가곡작품을 심도 있는 이해와 연주 시 작곡가의 의도와 의미를 이해하여 연주 시 작곡가의 의도와 의미를 청중에게 효과적이고 정확하게 전달하는 것을 목적으로 한다.|This study is an analytical study centered on the graduate performance project of the postgraduate course. The program was largely divided into works by a German composer from the 19th century romantic period, an Italian composer, and two Korean composers representing the 20th century. The author selects the representative songs of each composer, inspects their works and creative career, and analyzes the musical characteristics of the songs, the form of poems used in each song, interpretation and music analysis. The 19th century German composer Robert Schumann(1810-1856)composed Frauenliebe und Leben(Op. 42), a serial song set to a poem written in 1840 by Schamisso(1781–1838). It is considered to be his finest song. It also consists of eight songs and tells the story of one woman's life and love. Vincenzo Bellini(1801-1835) was one of the greatest composers of the Italian Romantic era. He created numerous masterpieces during his short life. His achievements not only in opera, but also in art songs. From Bellini's vocal works, Sei Arietta published by Ricordi Publishing House in Italy were selected for analysis and research. The work consists of six songs, all of which contain the theme of love. ‘Stars’ by Soo-in Lee(1939-2021) and ‘Are you Coming’ by Kyu-hwan Kim (1926-2011) were selected as Korean songs for analysis. Although the two songs are unrelated, they are both famous works full of Korean people's love and emotions. They have been loved by the public for a long time and have been performed by many Korean vocalists. Through this research, we can deeply understand the songs and works of the composers mentioned above, and understand the composer's intention and meaning during performance, so that the composer's intention and meaning during performance can be effectively and accurately conveyed to the audience. That's the purpose of this study.
