면앙정 송순 문화자산의 문화콘텐츠 활용 가능성

Abstract

본고는 면앙정 송순의 문화자산을 기반으로 문화콘텐츠로의 활용가능성을 모색함으로써, 송순의 문화자산을 현재로 소환하여 다양한 방식으로 향유하기 위한 것이다. 본고에서 말하는 문화자산이란 문화를 매개로 가치를 지속적으로 창출 하고 있거나 창출 할 수 있는 가능성을 지니고 있는 고유성, 차별성, 현재성을 가지고 있는 일체의 자산을 말한다. 이러한 맥락에서 송순의 문화자산을 파악하기 위해서는 그의 문학적 자산뿐만 아니라 그것을 구현했던 담양과 지역의 문화생태계를 구현하는 다양한 요소까지 통합적인 관점에서 규명해야 한다. 송순의 문화자산은 크게① 원천스토리를 지니고 있는 송순의 삶 자체, ②시가문학(詩歌文學)의 유산, ③ 학통(學統)과 문통(文統)의 계보학(系譜學)적 유산, ④ 면앙정(俛仰亭)이라는 유형유산, ⑤담양이라는 장소자산으로 나눌 수 있다. 송순의 문화자산을 기반으로 문화콘텐츠를 개발하는 목적은 송순의 문화자산을 발굴하고 선양해야 한다는 문화적인 가치 창출뿐만아니라 경제적인 가치 창출에도 맞추어져 있다. 이러한 목적의 성격과 문화자산의 특성을 고려할 때, 그것은 담양이라는 구체적인 장소자산을 기반으로 논의되어야 한다. 문화콘텐츠의 지향과 정체성을 결정하는 5W1H는 구현 전략을 마련하는데 매우 유용하다. 5W1H로 송순의 문화자산과 상관하여 담양이 이미 확보하고 있는 자산을 살펴보면, ‘언제 (When), 어디서(Where)’는 어느 정도 구비되어 있지만, ‘누가(Who), 무엇을(What), 어떻게 (How)’의 부분은 상당히 미흡하다. 본고에서는 전략적 차원에서 송순의 문화자산의 문화콘텐츠로의 활용을 5W1H의 각 항목별로 점검하며 전략적 차원에서 반드시 고려해야할 요소에 대하여 제안하였다. 송순의 문화자산이 지닌 가치나 구현 공간으로서 담양이 지니고 있는 자산은 분명하다. 다만, 그것이 문화콘텐츠로 구현하고 지속하기 위한 고민은 거시적 관점에서 단계별로 전개되어야 하며, 무엇보다 사업의 정체와 지향을 차별적으로 선점하는 일이 중요 하다. This paper is written in attempt to revitalize and thus enjoy the cultural assets of Myeonangjeong Song Soon in various ways by seeking the usability of it as a cultural content. Cultural assets discussed in this paper refer to every assets that can consistently create value through culture, which must possess uniqueness, differentiation, and nowness. In this context, cultural assets of Song Soon must be found on integrated point of view that includes not only his literary asset but also Damyang that embodied it and diverse factors that give body to the cultural ecosystem of the region. Song Soon’s cultural assets can be divided into ① Song Soon’s life itself that contains the source story, ② heritage of korean classic poetry, ③ genealogical legacy of scholastic and literary mantles, ④ Damyang as place assets. Purpose of developing cultural contents based on Song Soon’s cultural assets is not only focused on cultural value creation that cultural assets of Song Soon should be excavated and promoted but also on economic value creation. Considering the nature of these purposes and characteristic of cultural assets, it must be discussed based on the specific spacial assets of Damyang. 5W1H that decides the direction and identity of cultural contents is very useful in building an implementation strategy. When we examine the assets that Damyang already secures with 5W1H, it is furnished with ‘When’ and ‘Where’ to a degree, but falls short of ‘Who’, ‘What’, and ‘How’. This essay inspects the use of Song Soon’s cultural assets as cultural content by each part of 5W1H and suggests the factors that must be considered from a strategic point of view. Both value of Song Soon’s cultural assets and assets that Damyang holds as space of implementation are clear. However, effort to implement and consist it as a cultural content should be developed stage by stage in macro perspective, and it is most important to occupy the identity and aim of the business in differentiated ways.
