한국판 청소년 완벽주의적 자기제시 척도(K-PSPS-Jr)의 타당화

Abstract

본 연구는 청소년들을 대상으로 하여 완벽주의의 대인관계적 측면을 측정하고자 개발된 완벽주의적 자기제시 척도(PSPS-Jr)를 번안하여 요인구조를 살펴보고 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하고자 진행되었다. 본 연구에서는 초등학교 5-6학년과 중학교 1-3학년 청소년 총 489명의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 먼저 요인구조를 탐색한 결과, 원저자가 제안한 바와 같이 ‘완벽주의적 자기노력’, ‘불완전함 은폐노력-행동적’, ‘불완전함 은폐노력-언어적’으로 구성된 3요인 모델이 확인되었으며 내적일치도가 양호하였다. 또한, 한국판 완벽주의적 자기제시 척도는 기존의 완벽주의 척도와 유의한 정적 상관을 나타내었다. 마지막으로, 완벽주의적 자기제시 척도와 사회불안, 우울감, 정서표현 양가성, 자아존중감과의 관련성을 확인함으로써 공인타당도를 검증하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 한국판 청소년용 완벽주의적 자기제시 척도는 청소년들을 대상으로 한 완벽주의의 다양한 대인관계적 특성을 확인하는 토대가 될 수 있을 것이다. The Perfectionistic Self-Presentation Scale-Junior Form (PSPS-Jr) is a measure of perfectionism in children and adolescents. It focuses more on an interpersonal component of perfectionism, rather than on personality traits of perfectionism. The present study was designed to validate the Korean version of the PSPS-Jr (K-PSPS-Jr). We recruited a total of 489 participants in South Korea, one group of which is grade 5-6, and the other group of which is grade 7-9. Consistent with previous literature, the 3-factor model was confirmed as follows: Perfectionistic Self-Promotion, Nondisplay of Imperfection, and Nondisclosure of Imperfection, showing good internal consistency. Also, the K-PSPS-Jr had a significant positive association with an existing measure of perfectionism for adolescents, while we examined the relations of the K-PSPS-Jr with measures of social anxiety, depression, ambivalence over expressiveness, and self-esteem. Based on the findings, we expect that the K-PSPS would be a useful tool to better understand the essence of how perfectionism is expressed among youths.
