도시 활성화를 위한 주민 참여 농업 프로그램제안

Abstract

In the past, markets were formed around the human settlements. As the cities developed gradually with their city masterplans and infrastructures changed and their distribution system developed, the forms of their markets also changed. Today, the region of the agricultural production is far away from the market, while the agricultural products can be easily transported to the market. Unlike in the past, the foods show up on our table through complicated distribution processes. Due to various global environmental problems, people are willing to take the social responsibility in multi-faceted ways. People have continued to be concerned with the sustainable growth. Even from the perspective of the city space and Architecture, the issue of the sustainable growth is important. Hence, it is deemed significant to study the urban agriculture. The urban agriculture is one of the sustainable areas in the cities. Like the ancient markets, cities are the market places where production and consumption can co-exist only to reduce the complicated distribution processes, while serving to create good urban views. Hence, various cities over the world operate diverse urban agriculture programs, while their governments promote the urban agriculture for their citizens. With such basic conceptions in mind, this study is aimed at discussing the needs for the urban agriculture in Seoul, while reviewing various cases. Then, the conditions of the urban agriculture in Seoul were surveyed to suggest an appropriate urban agriculture program for Seoul. To this end, Seoul Forest, one of the eco-spaces in the center of Seoul, was sampled to make use of the existing Sampypo Cement Factory site and then, an urban agricultural program was put forwards to help revitalize the functions of Seoul. |과거 시장은 사람이 모인 곳을 중심으로 형성됐다. 점차 도시는 발전했고, 도시의 마스터플랜 및 인프라시설의 변화와 유통 발달에 의해 시장의 형태 역시 변화하였다. 이러한 발달로 농업 생산지가 멀어져도 운반이 가능해졌고, 과거의 시장과는 달리 현재의 식품은 복잡한 유통과정을 거쳐 우리의 식탁까지 오르게 된다. 여러 지구환경적 문제로 인해 사람들은 다방면으로 사회적 책임을 가지려고 한다. 이를 바탕으로 다양한 부분에서 지속가능성에 대한 관심은 꾸준히 이어져왔고, 도시의 관점에서도 이 지속가능성에 대한 노력이 요구되고 있다. 그 방법 중 하나로 도시농업에 대해 연구해보고자 한다. 도시농업은 다원적 기능을 가진, 도시에서 행할 수 있는 지속 가능한 방법 중 하나이다. 원시적 시장과 유사하게 생산지와 소비지가 인접하여 복잡한 유통단계를 줄여 환경적 부분이나 도심의 경관형성에도 도움을 주는 등 다방면으로 중요한 기능을 보여준다. 이러한 기능들로 인해 전 세계 여러 도시에서도 도시농업의 프로그램을 진행하고 있고 정부차원에서도 제안을 하며 확장해 나가 그 효과를 보고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 서울 도시농업의 필요성에 대해 이야기하며 여러 도시의 사례들을 검토하고 서울의 도시농업 현황을 조사한 후, 현 서울에 적합한 형태의 도시농업 프로그램을 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다. 그 중 서울 중심부에 위치한 생태공간 중 하나인 서울숲을 중심으로 기존의 삼표시멘트공장부지를 활용 및 재 연결하여 도시농업 프로그램을 제안해 도심의 기능을 재활성화 시키고자 한다.
