디지털 탄막 이용과 이용자들의 지각된 상호작용, 시청 몰입감 및 시청 만족감에 관한 탐색적 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 영상 콘텐츠를 시청하면서 사용하는 탄막 기능이 이용자들의 지각된 상호작용, 시청 몰입감, 그리고 시청 만족감에 영향을 미치는지에 대해 실증적으로 검증하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 탄막 사용은 이용자들의 시청 몰입감 및 시청 만족감에 유의미한 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 프로그램 시청 중 이용자들 간의 지각된 상호작용에도 유의미한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 전통적 방식으로 이해되는 텔레비전 영상 콘텐츠 시청에 대한 인식의 변화에 대한 기초자료를 제공하고, 디지털 기술과 접목한 다양한 영상 콘텐츠 시청 효과를 짐작할 수 있는 단초를 제공한다는데 의의를 두고 있다. 또한 탄막을 포함한 다양한 디지털 기능의 개발과 적용 가능성의 필요성을 제시하고 있다. The purpose of this study was to carry out an empirical examination to assess whether using danmu while watching video content affects user's perceptions on perceived interactivity, viewing engagement, and viewing satisfaction. The simple linear regression results showed that the use of danmu had a significant positive effect on respondent's viewing engagement and viewing satisfaction, users' perceived interactivity while watching programmes with danmu was also shown significant. The results of this study can be regraded as basic data for traditional television to understand a new viewing environment, provide clues to explore the effects of digital technology combined with different video content. The study also presented the need for further development and applicability of digital technology functions, including danmu.
