Abstract
Recently, the textile enterprise is centralrating their research field on develcpnent of new material that can evaluate the value added of products remarkably. As opal finishing is one of that, the material is prefered by consumer woridwiddy because this products have both sexual and elegant beauty. Opal finishing is a printing technology that give transparent effect on fabrics by removaling only one hand fiber of double-bottomed fahics. For opal finishing, chiefly, silk and rayon mixed fabric is used. Because rayon only is bum out after printing with reagent paste, silk only remains, and shows up particular transparency effect on fabrics. But, in spite of this merit of this fabics, the domestic entejprises are having difficulty because of a lack of original technology, a decline of competitive power and an absence of research etc.. So, we studied the best condidm that give not any damage on silk and is able to out easily burnt rayon. TTie variations of cmdition arc printing condition by types of reagents paste, burnout condition by heating, washing condition of burnt rayon. We researched this conditions by investigating damage grade, color-fastness, tensile strength and bum out effect. The resales are as follows. The best gum for printing paste was maypro gum 10%, the best heating a^aratus was drying oven, heating conditions was 150TC, 5-10 min. and the best reagent for opal fishing was alumium sulfate 15% in the all of bum out effect, color-fastness, damage grade, tensile strength and dyebility.
