Anion-selectivities of the solvent polymeric membrane electrodes based on 3,3’-(trimethylenedinitrilo) bis(αoximinopropiophenone), the model compound of a Ni-porphinoid coenzyme F430, were investigated The results of this study show that the potentiometric response of the membrane based on model compound (1; 3,3’-(trimethylenedinitrilo)- bis(α-oximinopropio phenone) and its nickel complex (2) may provide the determination of thiocyanate. The response of the membrane based on model compound may be caused by the dissociated ion-exchange mechanism and Ni-complex is ligand-metal interaction. Lipophilic cation site enhanced the overall performance (detection limit and linearity) of the both membrane, but selectivity toward lipophilic anion is worsened.en_US
