- 역사적인 무게와 의미를 지닌 작가가 동시대인에게 평가를 받지 못하고 뒤늦게 재평가 되는 현상으로서의 두보 평가를 당과 송에 걸쳐서 추적하였다. 결론적으로 두보는 당대에 그다지 큰 평가를 받지 못하다가 송에 들어서야 이백과 함께 당시를 대표하는 아니 그보다 더 송시에 결정적인 영향을 미친 작가로 확립된다.
