dc.description.abstractCOVID-19 becomes the fast-spreading disease and raises more concern. On March 11, 2020, it was declared by WHO as a global pandemic. The ongoing spread of the pandemic causes negative impacts on the world. Vaccines for this disease are being developed and tested. Social media and contact tracking applications are being used to keep people safe, informed, and connected. However, these technologies enabled and amplified infodemic [1]. Blockchain and other advent technologies such as machine learning can solve the COVID-19 infodemic. In our thesis, we start by describing the COVID-19 information crisis. Then we go through the role of Blockchain in solving this infodemic. Finally, we analyzed two existing COVID-19 applications using Blockchain.-
