디자인 박사학위(Doctor of Design)제도 수립과 운영에 관한 연구

Abstract

New digital age came now and age converted to knowledge society. Therefore we need a strategy focused on technical development and design development to strengthen the competitiveness of Korean country on 21th century. But the reality of our society still recognize design as an simple aesthetic function. As a result, our country was not high contribution to country industry by a view of aesthetics oriented design. Also, it lacks design of nationality and our unique Design Identity. Design that is valid means of marketing for corporation and means to guarantee higher quality of life for human requires high specialization of Design Education and systematic thesis of design study. Normalization of these educational system and improvement of degree system may greatly contribute to our design education and development of design industry.
