dc.description.abstract本稿는 日帝의 ?外 侵略의 過程에서 전개된 日本語의 普及論理에 대해 考察한 것이다. 初期의 ?育論에서는 露日?? 후 강화된 영향력을 배경으로 ?制性을 띤 ‘日本語에 의한’ 同化의 論理로 변화를 보이고, 思想的 측면의 강조와 함께 日本語의 습득에 따른 功利的인 면을 ?調한 論理의 展開도 눈에 뜨인다. 韓日合邦 후 ‘?語’로서의 日本語는 同化를 위한 直接要素로서 규정되어 植民地民을 ‘皇?臣民’으로 同化시키기 위해서 ‘?語’ 普及에 全力을 기울여야 한다는 것이 주된 論理로 ?調된다. 日帝 末期의 論調는 보편적 言語?에서 크게 逸脫된 言語 이데올로기의 모습을 克明하게 보여주고 있는데, 韓?人도 이른바 ‘大東?共??의 指導者’에 상응하는 ‘?語’ 能力의 습득이 ?調되고 있다. 대대적인 皇民化運動과 ‘?語’ 運動이 展開되는 가운데 日本語普及의 理念과 論理에 대한 재검토도 이뤄지고 있는데, 植民地 言語政策의 근본 問題의 해결에는 이르지 못하고 日本語普及의 ??性과 韓?語 排除의 명분을 確保하려는 論理의 展開에 그치고 있다. This is to study arising logics of spreading Japanese language abroad while Jap an expanding her imperial power. It is discussed in terms of periods from the Cino-Japanese War to the Pacific War waged in the end of Japanese governed era. The debates on Korean Education raised during the Cino-Japanese War had been developed into the discussions about how to assimilate Korean People to Japanese culture by virtue of Japanese language supported by Japanese intensified governing power after the Russian-Japanese War. In the process, the logical aspects of both thought and utility seemed to be emphasized. Following the Japanese annexation of Korea, Japanese language as mother tongue of Korea was reckoned to be an immediate factor to progress such an assimilation policy. It could be thought that to train colonial people to be members of the people dominated by the Emperor of Japan because Japanese government believed they should be dedicated to the dissemination of Japanese language which contains Japanese culture, spirit, and thought. With the War period extended, the tone of the argument explicitly showed ideological aspects of language derailed from universal linguistic views. In that atmosphere, Japanese language was being considered to be political problem which was regarded as a basic issue to sustain governing over Korea. Entering into the era, a logic was raised that Korean People should learn Japanese language to be leaders of the East Asia. Amid the large-scale campaigns for ‘mother language', there was the re-examination of the spread policy of Japanese language. Through these discussions, Japanese put forward the reasoning to assure the legitimation of the exclusive use of Japanese language as well as of the prohibition of using Korean language. However, they failed to reach a solution to a fundamental problem in pursuing the colonial language policy.en_US
