Abstract
2004 Haute Couture에 선보인 패션에서 소재를 분류하여 감성공학적으로 고찰하였다. With time,as cultures get varied, contemporary fashions and textiles become more diversified and individualized. With resulting higher standards of lives, consumers have a tendency to think highly of the quality rather than the quantity. In order to earn a higher competitive edge, therefore, the industry should have a full understanding of consumers' sentiments about fashion textiles. In the past, the design of clothing was the most important factor affecting consumers' purchasing activities. Recently, however, the textile itself has taken the place of its design and the industry has made continuous attempts to meet consumers' various individualities and sentiments by planning and choosing proper materials. If consumers desire to express modernistic and urban images are targeted, for example, companies in the industry should use and design textiles capable of embodying consumers' rather vague images in their minds and thus satisfying their psychological needs at a maximum. The industry should also set up strategic bases for consumers' visual sentiments by conducting continuous studies on their affective images. The purpose of this study is to create an effective information system in planning and producing efficient fashion textiles, by surveying actual examples on the market intended to meet groups of affective images and their individual images that were proposed at the F/W Paris Haute Couture (April, 2000) and identifying visual sentiments shown by those materials. As a method for literature and case studies, publications analyzing the trends of textiles that were used at the F/W Paris Haute Couture (April, 2000) were examined and various images were collected from related web sites. Then I classified materials and affective images that were proposed at the F/W Paris Haute Couture (April, 2000) and attempted to identify and analyze their interrelations
