Abstract
Each year, the number of children due to the falling birth rate decreased dramatically, and the need to take care of their children along with rising economic power increased by double-income, telecommuting, and flexible working systems increased time spent with their children. This has led to a steady growth in the kids industry as parents invest in their children, and has led parents to find indoor play areas where they can do what they need at the same time with their children. In line with this, the Kid"s Cafe has emerged, combining commercial spaces such as play areas where children can be active and cafes where parents can rest. The size of the kids industry is growing every year, and more recently, it has become a complex form of cultural facilities by operating education and experience activities for children by introducing programs other than simple play and relaxation areas. Children achieve the process of psychological and social development by their surroundings and various factors, and experience through these processes affects their emotions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of Kid"s Cafe interior sensibility design elements and provide them as basic data to satisfy the emotional needs of the main users of children.
