윈드 오케스트라 활동이 중학생의 음악적 태도와 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 음악 활동이 학생들의 자기효능감 형성에 미치는 효과에 대해 알아보는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 능동적인 기악 합주 활동이 음악적 태도와 자기효능감 형성에 어떤 작용을 하는 지를 파악해 보고자 ‘윈드 오케스트라 활동이 중학생의 음악적 태도와 자기효능감에 미치는 영향’을 주제로 선정하여 연구를 진행하였다. 학생들에게서 수집된 설문지를 연구 문제에 따라 빈도분석, 기술통계, t-검정을 사용하여 분석했다. 분석을 통해 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 번째, 윈드 오케스트라 활동이 중학생의 음악적 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이를 알기 위해 활동 집단의 각 문항 별 빈도분석과 비활동 집단과의 비교를 위한 기술통계를 실시했다. 음악에 대한 감정적 태도의 빈도분석 결과, 문항에 대한 응답이 대부분 긍정적이었다. 기술통계의 비교에서는 활동 집단이 비활동 집단보다 긍정적으로 응답했다. 음악에 대한 개인적 태도는 빈도분석 결과, 대부분의 응답이 긍정적인 것으로 보였다. 기술통계에서는 활동 집단의 모든 응답이 비활동 집단 보다 긍정적으로 나타났다. 음악에 대한 사고적 태도는 빈도분석 결과, 자기 계발적인 문항을 제외하고는 매우 긍정적이었다. 기술통계에서는 활동 집단이 비활동 집단보다 매우 긍정적으로 보였다. 정확한 비교를 위한 t-검정에서는 음악적 태도의 하위 요인 모두 유의한 수준을 나타냈다. 두 번째, 윈드 오케스트라 활동이 자기효능감에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 자신감의 문항 별 빈도분석과 기술통계는 두 집단 모두 높게 나타났다. 자기조절효능감의 빈도분석 결과, 전체적인 응답이 긍정적이었다. 기술통계의 비교에서는 활동 집단의 평균이 비활동 집단보다 확연하게 높았다. t-검정을 통한 비교에서는 자신감은 유의하지 않게 나타났고, 자기조절효능감은 매우 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 윈드 오케스트라 활동은 음악적 태도와 자기효능감에 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다.; The purpose of this study is identifying the effects of music activity on students’ self-efficacy formation. In order to understand how active orchestra activity influences musical attitude and self-efficacy formation, this study was conducted after setting its theme as ‘the effects of wind orchestra activity on middle school students’ musical attitude and self-efficacy’. The questionnaire surveys collected from students were analyzed by using frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, and t-test. The following are the results of the analyses. First, it has been found that wind orchestra activity has positive influence on middle school students’ musical attitude. In order to figure it out, frequency analysis with regard to respective items of activity group and descriptive statistics for comparing with non-activity group were conducted. As a result of conducting frequency analysis of emotional attitude toward music, responses toward items were mostly positive. When it came to comparison of descriptive statistics, activity group replied more positively than non-activity group. As a result of the frequency analysis, individual attitude toward music were mostly positive. In the comparison of descriptive statistics, all responses by activity group were more positive than non-activity group. As a result of the frequency analysis, thinking attitude toward music were all positive excluding self-development item. In the comparison of descriptive statistics, activity group was more positive than non-activity group. In t-test for accurate comparison, all subordinate factors of musical attitude were at significant level. Therefore, wind orchestra activity influence middle school students’ positive musical attitude. Second, it has been found that wind orchestra activity has positive influence on self-efficacy. Both groups had high frequency analysis and descriptive statistics of respective items regarding confidence. As a result of conducting frequency analysis of self-control efficacy, overall responses were positive. In comparison of descriptive statistics, the average of activity group was certainly higher than non-activity group. In comparison through t-test, confidence was not significant and self-control efficacy was very significant. Therefore, wind orchestra activity influences positive musical attitude and self-efficacy.
