제7차 교육과정 고등학교 수학 교과서 분석

Abstract

수학의 실용성에 대한 가치를 학생들이 느끼기 위해서는 자연과학 및 실생활과 연관된 소재를 많이 접해 보는 것이 필요하다. 이는 학생들에게 수학에 대한 흥미와 수학이 의미 있고 중요한 교과임을 인식하게 하는데 도움을 줄 수 있다. 초등학교와 중학교 수학교과서에서는 실생활 소재가 많이 반영되어 있으나 고등학교 교과서에서는 실생활 소재가 어느 정도 반영되어 있는지에 대한 연구가 거의 이루어지지 않아 본고에서는 고등학교 교과서에서의 실생활 소재 반영 비율을 미국의 교과서와 비교 분석하여 8차 교과서 제작에 도움이 될 수 있는 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 그리고 실생활 소재가 학생들의 흥미를 끌기에 충분한지 그리고 다양한 소재를 반영하고 있는지도 분석하였다. 분석결과 우리나라 수학교과서는 미국의 교과서보다 실생활 소재 반영비율이 낮으며 실생활 소재의 다양성과 흥미 면에 있어서도 많이 부족한 것으로 나타났다.; This study analyzed everyday life materials in the high school mathematics textbooks. Also, it analyzed if everyday life materials are enough to lead to student' interests. The results show that (1)the rates of everyday life materials of Korean mathematics textbooks is lower than U.S.A. textbooks, (2)the variety of everyday life materials and the interest in mathematics is racking rather than U.S.A. textbooks, and (3)Korean textbooks do not provide enough opportunities of mathematical modeling for the development of skills and an understanding of the importance of mathematics in everyday life.
