홈오토메이션과 홈네트워크 복합망 연동을 위한 그룹게이트웨이 개발에 관한 연구

Abstract

최근 IT분야의 한 축을 구성하게 된 홈 네트워크 분야는 아날로그 신호를 기반으로 방문자 영상통화, 세대 간 및 공용부 통화와 세대의 화재, 방범, 가스와 같은 긴급 상황 메시지를 중앙 관리소에 통보하는 홈오토메이션에서 디지털 신호를 기반으로 하는 홈 네트워크로 발전하고 있다. 세대내의 아날로그 단말기는 지능형 네트워크 단말기로 전환되고 있으며, 세대내의 다양한 홈 네트워킹을 위한 서비스를 충족하기 위해 세대 외부의 백본망 또한 멀티미디어 데이터의 원활한 전송을 위해 Fiber to the Home(FTTH) 솔루션이 주목받고 있다. 홈 네트워크는 외부 네트워크망과 연동되는 단지망, 단지망과 연동되는 세대망으로 구분될 수 있으며, 세대망은 Power Line Control(PLC), RS-485, Wireless LAN, Bluetooth등 다양한 통신매체가 적용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 아날로그 단말기를 세대에 유지 하면서 단지망만을 네트워크망으로 변경하여 홈네트워크에서 가능한 서비스를 유사하게 제공 가능하도록 하는 그룹게이트웨이 시스템에 대해 연구하였다. 즉 TCP/IP 단지망의 경비실기, 공동현관기(방문자용 세대 호출 화상 전화기), 및 다양한 서버(주차, 택배, 원격검침)와 세대내의 아날로그 단말기가 통신 가능하도록 함으로써 세대의 홈네트워크 구축비용을 절감함과 동시에 사용자에게는 유용한 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 된다. 이러한 기술은 홈오토메이션으로만 기 구축된 사이트에 유용하게 활용될 수 있는 기술이라 하겠다.; The home network which until recently comprised one of the main axes of the research area of IT technology, is now evolving from an analog signal-based system to a complete home network system based on digital signal processing. An analog system is where visitors can communicate with a resident through video calls, a resident can place a call to another resident or a common area (guard room or common porch) or a resident can report an emergency, such as fire accident, gas leakage or security problems to the central management room. These analog user terminals within a residential complex are now being replaced by digital terminals and the backbone network outside the residential area is being considered as a means to fulfill various service requirements for home networking in a residential complex. The FTTH solution is attracting considerable attention since it can transmit multimedia data very smoothly. In this paper, we investigate various aspects of the Group Gateway system that allows residents to be provided with various types of additional services by interworking allowing analog terminals within the residential complex to the TCP/IP network.
