dc.description.abstract상온에서 FexAu1-x (0 < x < 1) 합금박막을 face-to-face 스퍼터링방법을 이용하여 유리 기판 위에 증착시켰다. 각 합금의 조성은 X-선 형광법을 통해 확인하였다. X-선 회절 분석을 통해 Fe-Au 합금박막은 x <0.8 일 때 fcc 구조를 가지고 x > 0.8 일 때 bcc 구조를 갖는 것을 알 수있었다. 박막의 자성특성은 진동시료자력계를 이용하여 측정하였다. Fe-Au합금 박막의 광자기 특성은 상온에서 측정하였다. 입사각 의존 광자기 특성 계산을 위한 전산 모사 프로그램을 개발하였고,계산 결과를 Fe 박막에 대한 실험 결과와 비교하였다. 광학 매질의 흡수 계수를 고려하였으며, 투자율 텐서의 비대각 성분이 외부 자기장에 선형적으로 비례함을 가정하여 계산 하였다. Kerr 회전각과 Kerr 타원율 값을 polar,longitudinal, 그리고 transverse 모드 모두에 대해서 전산 모사 하였다.-
dc.description.abstractA set of FexAu1-x alloy films with 0 < x < 1 has been prepared using the face-to-face sputtering technique onto glass substrates at room temperature. The composition of each alloy sample was determined at its central part by x-ray fluorescence. The x-ray diffraction study reveals fcc structures for the FexAu1-x alloy films with x < 0.8, and bcc structures for x > 0.80. The magnetic properties of the films were investigated by using a vibrating sample magnetometer. The magneto-optical (MO) Kerr effect of Fe-Au alloy films was measured at room temperature. To calculate the MO properties, a simulation program which is capable of calculating the incident-angle dependence of MO properties was developed, and the simulation results were checked against the experimental ones for the pure Fe film. In the simulation, it was assumed that the optical medium is absorptive and the off-diagonal components of the permittivity tensor are linearly dependent on the external magnetic field. The simulations were performed for the polar, the longitudinal, and the transverse modes to obtain the Kerr rotation and ellipticity.-
