임베디드 시스템을 기반으로 한 음성 인식기 구현

Abstract

본 논문에서는 ARM Core 기반의 Xscale PXA255 Processor를 탑재한 Development Board를 사용하여 임베디드 시스템을 구성하고 음성인식기를 구현하였다. Development Board OS로는 임베디드 Linux를 사용하였고, 음성 인식기는 음성인식 툴인 HTK와 C 언어를 이용하였다. 음성 데이터 베이스는 연구실, 잡음 없는 환경에서 녹음(남성화자 3명,여성화자 1명)하였고, 총 8개의 명령어(인터넷, 날씨, 지하철노선, 교통정보, 재생, 재생정지, 녹음, 녹음정지)에 대해서 각각 20번씩 녹음하여 총640개의 데이터 베이스를 구축하였다. 각각의 명령어에 대한 인식과정수행시 걸리는 Delay time을 측정하고 x86계열의 CPU와 비교해보았다.또한 Development Board에서 더 많이 소요되는 Delay time을 개선할방법을 살펴보았다.; This paper describes a implementation of speech recognition based on embedded architecture. we composed embedded system using development board and developed recognition program using C language and HTK(Hidden Markov Model Toolkit). We made a Data Base for eight words(internet, weather, subway-line, traffic-information, play, play-stop, record, record-stop), that were recorded 20 times per each words. We compared delay time of Arm based development Board with that of x86 CPU. We will investigate the improvement of recognition time and make the image recognition system using web-cam based on the board.
