관현악곡 <Space> 작곡 및 분석

Abstract

태양계의 각 행성의 명칭은 그리스?로마 신화에 그 근간을 두고 있다. 이러한 태양계의 이름에 얽혀있는 신화는 음악으로 표현하기에 다양한 동기를 제공해 준다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 태양계의 이름에 나타난 신화를 바탕으로 태양계의 각 행성을 음악으로 표현하고자 하여 <관현악을 위한 『Space』>를 작곡하고 이를 분석하였다. 본 연구는 크게 3부분으로 나뉘어 진행되었다. 먼저 본 논문의 동기가 된 소재에 대한 분석을 하였다. 이 부분에서는 각 행성의 이름의 유래와 의미를 살펴보고, 각 행성의 특징을 고찰한 후 이에 따라 어떤 음악으로 구성할 것인지에 대한 아이디어를 제안하였다. 두 번째로 전체분석에서는 형식, 박자와 리듬, 음 재료에 대해 분석하였다. 형식은 A(a). B(b+c), C(d+e), D(f+g+h+i+j)인 4부분으로 구성되어 있다. 박자와 리듬은 불규칙한 변박과 다양한 리듬형태로 나타난다. 각 부분의 주요 음정은 A는 4도 음정, B는 3도 음정, C는 5도 음정, D는 2도 7도 음정으로 음 재료의 소재가 되며 단락 D에서는 박자와 리듬의 소재로도 적용된다. 세 번째로 부분별 단락분석에서는 박자와 리듬, 음 재료에 대한 좀 더 심도 있는 분석을 하였다. 결론적으로 본 연구에서는 태양계의 각 행성들이 가지고 있는 신화적 소재가 음악적 요소를 구성하는데 어떻게 적용되고 표현되어지는지 작품을 통해 나타내었고 이를 여러 음악적 요소에 따라 분석하였다.; The name of each planet in the Solar System is based on the classic myths. Myths related to such name of the Solar System gives us various motives that I express it as music. Therefore in this study, I composed <Space for Orchestra> and analyzed. I intended to express each planet in the Solar System as music based on myths that is presented in name of the Solar System. In this study, I generally divided a material that motivates me. In this part, I looked into the origin and meaning of each planet, considered the feature of each planet and suggested an idea that what music I make up according to the result. Second, in the whole analysis, I analyzed a form, beat & rhythm and material of a tone. A form is composed of four parts; A(a), B(b+c), C(d+e), D(f+g+h+i+j). As for the main pitch of each part, A is 4 pitch, B is 3 pitch, C is 5 pitch and D is 2 and 7 pitch, they are materials of the tone and, in the paragraph D, are applied to the material of beat & rhythm. Over all, the beat & rhythm were made up the irregular variation beat and various forms of rhythm. In conclusion, in this study, I presented how the material of myths is applied and expressed when organizing musical elements. Also, I analyzed it according to different musical elements.
